It was the night of our graduation. We finally got our diplomas! Phase 1 of the plan is complete. Now we can finally ditch this dusty-ass Town and lead normal lives! Everyone we know was going to the senior graduation after party... except the losers club of course.

Since we didn't have anything better to do, we ditched the graduation robes and decided to go to the town diner. I sucked at my straw out of boredom. Searching for any remains of what was once a vanilla milkshake with extra whipped cream.

Stan grabbed the straw from me.
"Can you stop slurping so loud?!"

"Hey! Give me back my straw, you thief!" I shouted as he dangled the straw over my head

"Just face it, there's no more whip cream, you fiend!" He teased.

We were actually having a little fun for a second, that is, until James and Alex walked in along with their friends. They were clearly all drunk or on drugs or on something. Still, having more fun then we were though.

We knew the two since middle school, but at one point James and Alex became the "popular" kids at school. I don't know why I'm putting quotations, that's exactly what they were. From what I'm told they threw the most legendary parties. Of course, we were never invited. Despite the popularity, they always managed to find the time to bug us.

"Oh shit! Hold up! Extra large Milkshakes? I don't care what anybody says, the losers club knows how to party!" James shouted sarcastically.

Everyone else behind him laughed.

"Is there ever a second when your not a jerk?" Beverly retorted.

"Oooooh she feisty!" Alex said putting his hands up in the air.

They laughed off Beverly's remark and started to leave the diner.

Stan rolled his eyes "I seriously hate this town" He mumbled under his breath.

I chuckled at his remark, only because of how true it was.

"Whatever drugs everyone else is on seems to be be working" Eddie joked.

When they walked out Richie blurted out "Dammit! Did we really not get invited to any graduation parties?"

"We're never invited to the parties Richie. What's the difference now?" Beverly asked.

"Yeah, well, it's graduation, you graduate together as a class...So you'd think after..."

"D-Dude...We traded c-cool for college." Bill interrupted.

It's true we all got accepted to our dream colleges that we all worked our asses off all our high school careers' to get into. We really didn't have time to have that much fun.

"All I'm saying is, I'm looking at this thing...And I don't feel as good as the people out there. We're just sitting here."
He said pointing out the window next to our booth.

"Bro, What were you expecting?" Mike asked.

"I don't know... Something cool?" Richie sighed looking down.

"I get what you mean Richie" I placed my hand on his back and giving him a smile to reassure him. He looks up at me, but his smile fades away.
