Knight In Armor {Vampire Knight}

Ouch

As I closed the door I sighed. The last thing I need is to cause trouble here and have my mom worry. They've been through so much because of me already. I walked down some hallways, ducking beneath the classroom door windows, peeking into others, trying to find the exit.

Suddenly someone ran by me, almost knocking me over. I quickly went against the wall, out of the way of whatever is going on. More people ran by.

"Hurry! I heard the pure bloods are fighting again!" Someone yelled

"Pure...bloods?" I muttered to myself.

Not only are they beautiful, they're rich too! No wonder why they have fans.

I followed the small group of students, since it was the same way I was heading. Some of them looked at me confused, knowing I didn't belong there. If there was a fight I just want to get out of here, so I'm not caught up in the trouble. Maybe I should run back and tell the Head Master...

Suddenly, a man was thrown into the hallway

And I mean THROWN.

He broke the classroom door and landed on his back, pain and anger filling his flawless face.

The dull red hair gave it away, it was Seiji

Kiyoko walked toward him, fast too. Her once calm face was beat red with anger.

"Seiji, I swear, say one more thing to me and I'll rip your head off!" She screamed

I guess siblings fight... right?

Seiji stood up and pushed kiyoko back, his strength was incredible.

Unhuman-like.

Kiyoko went through the wall. How could he do that! I understand they're siblings, but she's a girl! It's not right, especially when he clearly works out.

Some students blocked my view, so I tried to get closer. I squeezed through the crowd and the next thing I noticed Takeo was trying to pull Seiji from Kiyoko. Thoughts of my brother fearlessly getting into a fight flashed through my mind and I was blinded.

I tried to pull Takeo away as Seiji threw a punch toward Takeo's face. I grabbed his arm and he spun around, his golden eyes meeting mine and in an instant his arm swung around, and I was thrown sideways. My head bounced off the wall and my face met the floor below me. I couldn't sit up; the air was knocked out of me. I laid on the floor coughing and gasping for air.

The hall grew quiet.

"Takeo! You busted the wall! Now we're all going to get in trouble" someone said, almost mocking.

"All of you! Back to your classes! Expect the Head Master to know about this!"

My face was facing the floor, so I couldn't see who spoke next, but I noticed footsteps of people walking away. My head started to pound from me trying to catch my breath back.

"Akira?" someone said, but it sounded muffled. I was becoming dizzy.

"I didn't mean for her to get hurt. I'm so sorry"

I think that was Kiyoko.

"If you want to help, go to the Head Master and explain what happened. Are you okay, Akira?" A calm voice said, I could tell the squatted in front of me, and placed a hand on my back.

"Oh! She's bleeding, you better leave soon" Kiyoko said. I tried to lift my head up, but it was difficult. All the noise began to become more and more quiet, until I heard nothing. All I felt was my whole-body throb with pain. My eyes drooped shut, then open, then shut again.
