.•June 13th, 1865•. •.Y/n's P.O.V..• Today was finally Vincent's birthday. I finished the ring and returned home yesterday but Vince doesn't need to know that just yet. Knowing him he's probably going insane not knowing where I've been this whole time. He's probably driving Tanaka, Franny, and Lady Cloudia insane as well.
.•At the Phantomhive Manor•. "Do you think she found someone else?" Vincent asked Francis for eight-hundredth time in the past few days.
"Vincent shut up! Mother already told you she had to leave for a little bit for a designing internship!" Francis yelled at her overly dramatic brother. Sometimes she really wonders how he's the older sibling.
"What more does she need to learn? She's already brilliant!" Vincent whines into a pillow. Francis rolled her eyes and threw another pillow at him.
"She's amazing because she still believes there's always room to learn more about things she's mastered, unlike you who thinks you're naturally great at everything you do," Francis responds.
"Why thank you dear sister, I am amazing and isn't my Y/n as well?" Vincent smiled goofily completely ignoring Francis's insult. Vincent went on talking about how great he is and how talented his lovely fiancée is.
.•Y/n's P.O.V.•.
It's currently two in the afternoon so that means I have three hours to get ready. Usually on Vincent's birthday I'd sleepover the day before but a little change can't hurt.

After finishing I headed downstairs so mother and I can leave. The ride to the Phantomhive manor usually doesn't take too long. It usually takes thirty minutes or so, it's just a town away. Arriving at the manor the footman opened the door and greeted us. Walking up to the front doors, Tanaka opens them and greets mother and I.
"Lady L/n and Lady Y/n welcome back; Master Vincent has eagerly been waiting for your arrival," Tanaka smiles as he points us to the ballroom. Tanaka stops me and gestures to Vincent's room. Understanding I nod to Tanaka and give him a smile. I leave my mothers side and head upstairs. Reaching Vincent's door I quietly open it to see he's being a twat and dramatically looking out the window while sighing. Quietly shutting the door I silently walk closer to him and hug him from behind. Suddenly feeling contact Vincent turns around and embraces me.
"My love! You've returned to me!" Vincent exclaimed dramatically.
"Vincent it's only been a few days," I laugh as he kisses my cheeks.
"That's too long," He whines.
"Hush," I say before kissing his mouth.
"Now come on," I say as I pull him out of his room and to the balcony overlooking the garden. I face him away from me and hug him from behind again. I slip out Vincent's gift and slip it onto his left ring finger. Now facing me he looks down at his hand inspecting the ring.
