Chapter 12

(PHIL)

I walked out to see Sam in front of the stove wearing nothing but my shirt and her underwear. I smiled at the smell of pancakes, Sam was the best at making these. How she got the ingredients I am clueless, but still I didn't want to question her aloud because honestly I didn't care as long as I got my pancakes. She was humming a tune to a familiar song as I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Morning beautiful." I said kissing the top if her head.

She turned around in my arms and smiled.

"Morning." She replied smiling up at me.

"How are you so cheerful? You were literally wasted to death last night, love." I said furrowing my brow.

"The powers of aspirin are amazing, well, and while you were still sleeping I did some yoga so that helped a lot." I missed her doing yoga?

"Ah," I said as she fixed my fringe. "What recipe are you using?"

"Your favourite."

"I have a favourite pancake recipe?" I asked laughing a bit.

"Yeah, you didn't know?" She asked smiling back at me.

"No I didn't."

"Oh, well it's by Delia Smith." I threw my head back as I laughed this time.

"Are you serious?" I asked with a smile.

"Yes, Phil, I am drop dead serious." I stuck out my bottom lip.

"You wouldn't do that would you?" I asked.

"No, because I'd lose you." Sam spoke standing on her tip toes and kissing me, her hands grabbing my face.

I rubbed her back, accidentally lifting her shirt a bit. I let it back down, given I think we were both too tired for sex.

I lifted her up and set her on the breakfast bar behind me. We still hadn't broke contact yet, and I kind of wonder what Dan and Liza are doing right now. I mean we did leave them alone, with the keys to both flats. I'm a little scared.

(DAN)

I kissed Eliza quickly in the lips just as she woke up. "Top of the morning Eliza."

"You couldn't have been more British right there." She smirked smiling.

"What too cliche?" I cocked an eyebrow.

"Very." She said giving me a peck on the lips as she stood up.

I smiled, "Liza," She turned to me as she was headed out of the room. "Your leggings are pretty ironic don't you think?"

She turned and grabbed her pillow and hit me in the face. "Leggings are comfortable!" She yelled.

"Yeah and every hipster is wearing them." I said back whilst standing up.

She grabbed her pillow and hit me in the stomach with Liza and myself laughing, "Dan you better not be judging my leggings."

"You wanna play that game we can play that game." I grabbed my pillow and hit her head.

She ran away screaming and laughing. "Dan no, I'm sorry!"

I laughed and tackled her, hitting her in the stomach. "I am the best at pillow fights Liza, don't even try it."

I held up a pillow, faking to hit her again. "Bloody mercy!" She wailed laughing.

"Alright, alright I'll stop." She let out a sigh of relief. "But...."

She bit her lip making me smile. It was adorable when she did that.

"If you play..."

"Oh for Delia Smith's sake Dan just tell me already!" She yelled smiling up at me.

"Only for Delia Smith's sake," I said making her shake her head and laugh.

"For her sake hurry it up."

"I am!" I yelled laughing. "Okay I'll only stop if you play a video game with me."

She furrowed her brow, "A video game?"

"Yes, a video video game." I replied sternly.

"What video game?" She asked with a straight face.

"Hmmm...." She glared at me.

"Dan stop and just tell me." I didn't know if I should. But I really wanted to play this video game with her.

"Sonic." Her face tightened, but then loosened into a smile.

"Alright, your ass is going to be kicked." She smirked.
