"Welcome to Oldale Town!" Shauna read from the sign in front of the said place. Sawyer, however, ignored her as he excitedly hurried into the Pokemon Center.
"Nurse Joy, can I register for the Hoenn League?" Sawyer requested in a rushed tone. Nurse Joy chuckled at the young trainer's enthusiasm.
"Sure! Just take out your Pokedex and press it against this platform, screen facing down." Nurse Joy instructed as Sawyer proceeded to do so.
"Sawyer Forsythe, twelve years old, is registered for the Hoenn League." A masculine voice announced in a monotone voice. (He's older than 'Forever Ten' Ketchum xD) "Amount of badges: none."
"Chansey!" Nurse Joy's Chansey cried out, bringing the attention of Sawyer and Shauna. In the Egg Pokemon's hands was a badge case, which looked similar to the one he had in Kalos, but the top was opaque. Sawyer then looked over at Shauna. He knew she wanted to try out Contests, so he decided to ask for her.
"Also, is there any Contests happening in this area?" He inquired. Shauna gave him a grateful smile. "Shauna here wants to try out coordinating."
"The closest one from here is in Slateport City, just several days later," Nurse Joy replied. Sawyer gave her a nod in understanding. The nurse pressed a few buttons on the screen on her side of the desk. "Here,"
Shauna took out her Pokedex and pressed it against the platform. "Shauna Maire, twelve years old, is registered for the Slateport City Contest." The screen announced, but this time with a feminine, monotone voice. "Amount of ribbons: none."
Nurse Joy's Chansey walked up to Shauna and gave her a ribbon case, which looked somewhat similar to Sawyer's badge case. As she opened it, she noticed that there were five holes in the case.
"Thanks, Nurse Joy!" Shauna exclaimed, giving her a thumbs-up. She took her badge case and stuffed it in her messenger bag, waving to Nurse Joy and Chansey as she and Sawyer exited the Pokemon Center. "We better get going, bye!"

"So where's Rustboro City?" Shauna asked. She looked over to see Sawyer frantically scribbling in his notebook. Giggling at his antics, Shauna gave him a small tap on the shoulder. "You have to watch where you're going," She reminded.
Sawyer sighed but gave a small smile as he put his notebook back in his bag. "I just wanted to make note of a strategy that just came to mind," He stated, scratching the back of his head. He picked up a sprint, visibly thrilled to reach Rustboro City. Little did he know, he was headed for a small cliff.
"Sawyer, wait!" Shauna shouted, as Sawyer lost his balance and tumbled over the edge. Fortunately for him, the cliff wasn't so steep and there was a soft layer of mud at the bottom. But unfortunately, it was steep enough that the green haired boy couldn't climb back up.
Shauna peeked over the edge, a worried expression on her face. "Are you alright?" She called, cupping her hands beside her mouth to amplify the sound.
"I think," Sawyer replied, wincing as he tried to get up. "I probably have a bruise on my leg, but nothing was broken,"
Shauna sighed in relief, then pulled out her tablet. "You stay there, I'll go get help." Shauna stood up to run back to Oldale Town when all of a sudden a voice interrupted her.
"Use Psychic!"
A teal-coloured aura surrounded the green haired boy. As Sawyer emerged out of the crevasse, he could see a male Meowstic and a familiar face.
"Seraphia?!" He exclaimed, as the Meowstic, Apollo, gently set him on the ground. Shauna stopped dead in her tracks and ran back, giving the boy a soft punch on the shoulder.
