so now Audrie and I harass everyone. leaving creepy notes on mirrors, in the kitchen moving knives, and leaving marker stains in the living room carpet. at night when everyone is asleep, Audrie and I sneak into the kitchen and make us something to eat. like I am currently doing. at the moment I am cooking two steaks at 1:00 am. I hear footsteps advancing towards the kitchen door. I quickly jumped on top of the cupboards and lay low, Audrie crouched down beside me.

* don't move* I instructed her.

" hello?" the voice whispered. it sounded like the older man from when I got hurt. " I know you're in here . . . I'm not going to hurt you." said the elderly voice that kept causing me to flash back to when I first arrived here a week ago with Audrie.

" what do want from us?" I called out still hidden by camouflage.

" ahh such a beautiful voice." he said sweetly " I'm very sorry to say this but I'm not allowed to tell you anything." the old man said as he walked over to the cooking steaks.

time passed after a while, and I finally decided to look at him. I peered over the edge of the cupboard. he looked around the same age as Grandpa. he had brown hair that was cut short. pale green eyes and a little facial hair.

" come out of hiding and bring the child with you, I promise that no one will harm you." he said turning the steaks.

" how can I know you're not lying to me?" I questioned as I stared at his curious looking eyes.

" because I was the last alpha of this pack and they still listen to my commands. " he said getting the soda out of the fridge along with two cups from the cupboard that I was nestled on.

" promise me that we will be safe, promise all of our questions will be answered, promise that if we are forced to stay her that you will accommodate to whatever we want, and last promise you will allow us to roam the nearby forest without being harmed." I ordered

" I Alexander Stone promise to meet all the promises presented, I will make sure these promises are kept even if it means death." he said doing the boy scout promise. " will you guys come down now, and come and eat? we can talk then and I can get you girls a room to stay in for the night afterwards." he said as he placed the food and the drinks on the table.

I nudged Audrie who was perfectly still. she nodded her head and jumped off the cupboard. She landed with a soft thud, she then looked back at me. I nodded my head and she stepped out of her camouflage revealing herself. she slowly crept towards the table where the food was placed. once she sat down I jumped off the cupboards, and landed softly on the breakfast island. when I revealed myself I was crouched down on the counter ready for an attack that never came. I saw Alexander smile softly at me as I slipped off the counter and advanced toward the table.

" so you are Lily and Audrie?" he asked as we settled into our seats and began eating.

" yes..." I answered cautiously as I ate.

" I'm curious Lily, are you really the last tiger out there or are there more of you?" Alex questioned as his eyes observed us.

" yes . . . my mom was also one but when we were younger werewolves killed her along with my dad." I whispered holding back the tears that threatened to betray me.

" oh . . . I'm truly sorry for your loss." Alex mumbled looking away from us for a moment.

it soon grew silent and stayed like that for quite some time.

" do you know what happened to Grandpa and Vicky?" Audrie asked in a soft whisper only capable of being heard with our sensitive ears.

" You mean the alpha and that traitor?" Alex asked looking confused.

" no I mean Grandpa and Vicky." Audrie snapped at Alex

" yes I know. . . . they were shipped back to Europe..the alpha was sent back to Scandinavia and the friend was sent back to Siberia where she will be re trained." Alex replied in a clipped tone.

we both sighed a deep breath of relief once we found out neither of them were being harmed.

" now that I have to keep your promises, will you keep 2 of mine?" Alex asked kindly.

" . . . . what is it before we say yes?" I asked as we walked the halls of the house.

" one: don't kill yourself or anyone else no matter how much you want to don't. two: please do not run." he begged as if we would turn him down.

I sighed deeply. " we promise to kill ourselves or others and we promise not to run away." I answered as he opened a door and aloud us into a room.

" thank you." he said smiling brightly at us. " you two can sleep in that room where the bed is and I'll sleep on the couch out here." he said lying down on the wrap around couch.

I nodded and took Audrie into the area where you sleep. I closed and locked the doors that led into that room. I crawled into the queen size bed next to Audrie.

" good night Audrie." I whispered kissing her forehead.

" nun night Lily." she yawned as she closed her eyes..

I allowed myself to fall into a deep dreamless sleep once I was positive Audrie was asleep. I woke to a soft rapping on the door.
