"Audrie have you seen Vicky by any chance?" asks Grandpa as we kick start our quads.

"No Grandpa, I haven't" Audrie replies.

"What about you Lily, have you seen her?" Grandpa asked addressing me with a head nod.

"No I haven't not since this morning." I answered starting the engine.

"Well if you guys see her on your trip, bring her home." Grandpa ordered as he walked back into the house.

Audrie kicked her quad into gear and we rode off. I took Audrie down the dirt trails around the back hills, and I showed her my little hiding spots. I thought it would be a good idea to finally show her where I go when I'm upset or pissed off, I also showed her the cave Grandpa said to go to if there was any trouble or if some kind of natural disaster happened. We finally stopped at a small watering hole Grandpa showed me a while ago to take a break.

"So where do you think Grandpa's "Dog" is." asked Audrie as she splashed around in the knee deep water.

"I don't know. She probably was taken by coyotes or maybe even the wolves." I answered with a hint of fear in my voice.

"Don't say that.... maybe something really bad got her." Audrie said throwing her apple core to the side.

We heard a rustle in a nearby bush. Both of our heads snapped up in the direction of the noise. We see Vicky crawl her way out from behind it and attempt to limp her way towards us. Her left back leg was badly injured and blood was oozing out of her right shoulder.

"Audrie pack everything up now." I ordered rushing over to Vicky.

When I finally reached her she passed out in my arms. I gently carried her back to my quad and placed her on it. I quickly helped Audrie pack the rest of the stuff up and climbed back onto the quad. Once we were mounted and situated I heard it. ..... I turned around to see 3 giant wolves come out from behind the bush Vicky did. They all looked at me and growled baring there fangs.

"GO AUDRIE GO!!!" I shouted kick starting my quad.
