"who is it?" I asked in a whisper when I reached the door.
" It's Alex and I came to tell you breakfast will be done in 30 minutes, and I have some clean clothes for you and the child." he answered softly.
I unlocked the doors and opened them slightly. he handed me the cloths and walked away. I locked the door once more and gently woke Audrie up. we both toke a quick shower and changed into the clean clothes that Alex had brought us. once finished I unlocked the doors and walked out of the sleeping area. we found Alex sitting on one of the couches waiting patiently for us to come out.
" good morning ladies." he said in a cheerful mood.
I nodded an answer as did Audrie.
" so I have already informed the others that are here not to advance on you two, and to give your space." he said standing and heading to the door.
" is there anything else you told them ?" I asked as we stepped into the hallway.
" yes . . . I explained our terms and they understand. everyone should be in the kitchen eating breakfast right now." he said as we went down another flight of stairs.
as we approached the kitchen door I could hear the conversation from the people inside.
"do you think she'll kill us?"asked a male voice.
" no you idiot. Alex said she promised she wouldn't." a female voice said with a slight laugh.
" I'm a little scared to be honest." said that guys voice.
" why?" asked a new guys voice.
" one: because she kicked me in the chest when I first met her and I still have a bruise after almost a week. two: cause she got away from us not just one time but twice, and in the process was able to trick us." said the one guy
" no man she was able to trick you." laughed the second male voice.
" sssshhhhhh they're here." said the female voice.
Alex pushed open the door and allowed Audrie and myself to walk in. I looked around the kitchen, quickly observing the people in the room. There were 3 guys and one girl. all looked between the ages of 15 to 23. the girl stood from her seat and walked over to us.
" hi I'm Elizabeth but everyone calls me Lizzie." she said sweetly
Audrie and I nodded.
" you guys are Lily and Audrie right?" she questioned.
once again we nodded.
" so this is my older brother Vincent , and those two idiots are my other brother's friends. my other brother Anthony is actually at a business meeting at the moment." she informed us.
we just nodded once again.
" you're not gonna talk are you?" she finally asked sounding a little disappointed
" . . . . not until we feel comfortable" I whispered loud enough only for her ears to her.
" oh okay well you probably already know where everything is so. . . . have fun." she said nervously.
I nodded and stepped behind the counter. I opened a drawer and pulled out an I-pod and plugged it into the holding dock. I played hip hop and began making breakfast for Audrie and myself. after about 30 minutes I served Audrie and myself. everyone watched as we ate. Lizzie's phone rang and she quickly answered it. She excused herself and left the kitchen. mean while Alex leads Audrie and I to the living room.
