A/N: this is mostly about mitsuki's past, and i'm changing it to there being only rize trying to eat kaneki and mitsuki. sorry for not updating in a while, school and stuff got in the way. this is also long chapter, hang in there pls! and there are some parts that include bullying, cuts and bruises. if these disturb you please skip the parts with the double ~~~.
"You're a big brother now, Satoru." Mom held the newly born baby in her arms, Satoru smiled at the infant.
"What's her name, mom?" Satoru stepped closer to her, Mom was rocking the baby girl in her arms.
"It's Mitsuki. Mitsuki Fujinuma, your sister."
He smiled, then looking at Dad. "Satoru, you'll be a good big brother. Okay?"
"Okay, dad!" Satoru jumped up a bit, Dad smiling at him. "I'll be the best big brother in the world!"
Dad half-smiled, nodding. "If you say so, Sato."

Mitsuki was walking home late at night, she was currently 4 and she just snuck out of the house to go wander around the 20th Ward. She was in near a construction site, and a little boy with black hair and a white shirt and shorts came towards her.
"Hey!" He caught up to her, Mitsuki stopping and waving.
"Hello! My name is Mitsuki!" She grinned brightly at the little boy.
"I'm Kaneki! I like your name!" The boy stated, jumping up and grinning brightly as well.
"Oh! Two little children!" A voice called out, particularly a female one. A young woman with purple hair, glasses, a dress and a purse appeared having a concerned look on her face. "Are you two lost? I'm Rize Kamishiro." She smiled at them, but secretly hiding a evil smirk.
Mitsuki smiled, and hugged Rize suddenly. She bent down and Kaneki came over and did the same. "Aren't you two such cuties?" Rize hugged them back, smirking as her mouth got closer to Mitsuki's neck. "You'll make such a good meal." She whispered, opening her mouth wide and taking a big bite out of Mitsuki's neck. She then did the same to Kaneki, getting up and looking at them both.
Mitsuki and Kaneki were both on the ground, bleeding and whimpering. Mitsuki crawled away as fast as she could, but a red looking tentacle crawled up her leg and pulled her back. One of them pierced a hole right through her stomach, and Kaneki was pinned to the ground.
"Ahahaha!" She laughed, wrapping her rinkaku around them both. Rize grinned at the sight of both of them struggling, throwing them into the construction site near the edge. "Don't fall now, children!"
They were on a beam, on the edge and Rize stood before them. She was giggling, about to pierce her rinkaku into both of them. "Good night. Sleep tight!" As she was about to move, she heard something falling. She looked above, gasping at the sight of pipes above her and smashing her. Kaneki and Mitsuki were safe, but they shortly passed out and Rize then died from the construction pipes that fell before her. "H-how...could this...happen...?"

Mitsuki slowly opened her eyes, seeing many pipes attached to her, something was over her face and her whole body felt numb. She heard a faint gasp of relief, and picked up her head a bit and there was something in front of her. It was blurry, she couldn't see well but then fell back and drifted off to sleep again. The thing in front of her saw her eye. The transformation was a success.

Mitsuki stared at the food on her tray, she barely touched it at all. She didn't feel like eating it, it tasted disgusting. "Fujinuma-chan, you have visitors!" A doctor called, Mitsuki's eyes widening and pulling the covers over her. The doctor frowned, and sighed exiting the room. She heard footsteps, and then she felt a small poke. Mitsuki slowly removed the covers, seeing Kaneki beside her.
