She was a five star hotel

I was the small village hostel

She was the vodka you loved

I was the water you choked on the next morning

She was a 3 course restaurant meal

I was the home cooked stew your mother makes

She was the king size in a guest room

I was the mattress moulded to your body only

She was a wedding dress for one day

I was the comfy jeans and sweatshirt everyday

She was the club with everyone's laughter

I was the local pub who knew 'the usual'

She was hot and steamy, love like a fire

I was warm and familiar, love like a duvet

She was your one night stand you lived off before

I am the forever relationship you wonder that you didn't fond sooner

She is what you want

But I

I am what you needed

And I am what you already have.
