Why would you care if I cry?
It isn't my place
If I have tears on my face
Or if I have cried
And wiped red raw my eyes?
Why should you care if I cry?
Can I not feel
But women can wail
Or I cannot show
That I feel even low?
Why will you care if I cry?
What is wrong with
Showing that I live
And feel the same
Yet I'll get the blame?
Why judge me if I cry?
Say it's not worth the tears
Instead of laughter and jeers
And bullying a man
For showing my tears?
I don't care if I cry.
It's better to show
That you're sad and you care
Than letting then know
That you're cold and unaware.
So what if I cry?
Because I'm a boy
and I don't hide my fears
I show when I find joy
And I'm proud of my tears.
I'm not actually a boy, but I hate when people judge boys for crying or say that they shouldn't. It gets on my nerves, so... yeah :)
