The morning sun wasnt visible as Avni opened her eyes. Its probably going to be a cloudy day, London weather is unpredictable. Avni's eyes darted to the wall next to the window. A chain of her childhood was hung up on the wall, following a trail of her travels. Her eyes glued on to one specific frame. In that she was indulged in a pair of brown eyes. A protective hand wrapped around her waist. The flames from the bonfire nearby made their skin glow in orange. Avni smiled to herself, their conversation echoed through her ears.
Neil hugged her to a bone crushing one from behind, tickling on her sides. Avni laughed out loud. "What are you thinking about?" He whispered to her neck. "Nothing." She started running her fingers along his face. Neil closed his eyes, wrapping his leg around her waist. "You have no idea what a touch of you does to me.." he mumbled. Avni smiled. Neil is so perfect for her. She just pray he would be her forever. Avni slowly lowered her head and kissed on the corner of his mouth. "Haha, stop teasing!" Neil grabbed her tightly and kissed on her lips. His hands tirelessly explored her soft skin.
"Remember that night?" Avni pointed at the frame on the wall. It was from their Bali trip. The night Neil took her into a dance on the beach. "Of course! I still can smell the same fragrance from your skin.." he nuzzled on the side of her neck and continued. "I dont know what happened to me that night. We never had a real conversation, but I just felt it was a now or never." Avni turned to look at Neil. His feelings clearly visible in his eyes. She gave a smile and hugged him tightly, resting her head on his chest. "You are the best destination I chose. And I wish to travel along with you only." Avni murmured. Neil didnt reply. He just kissed on her forehead and hugged her back.Neil could hear Nichole from the living room, as he came downstairs. The dining area was quiet packed up, with cousins and other relatives of the Mehtas. Avni sat on the window seat, in a conversation with her cousins Ella and Simran. Neil's eyes darted to Nichole, who sat on the table and was having breakfast with Marcus. But his eyes were shifting between food and Avni. Neil feared that something unethical was going on in Nichole's mind. "Breakfast?" Avni broke his chain of thoughts. Neil smiled and gave a nod, taking the seat next to Marcus. "Hows it going, brother? You wanna hang around while you are here?" Nichole asked Neil, stuffing his mouth with some egg. "No plans until Friday please!" Avni interrupted. "I'll be busy!" She spoke while arranging the plates for Neil who let out a soft laugh. "Well we could keep Neil occupied until then." Nichole's words startled Neil for a while. "Yeah? He's all yours then haha." Avni replied. She wasn't worried anymore as Neil would not be getting bored, hanging around at home. Neil did not get a chance to rebut the thought, hence he kept mum.
After breakfast, Neil took on the couch with Marcus. He was a smart man, and Neil was fascinated with his knowledge. They shared common views, Neil enjoyed it very much. Neil looked at the hallway as he heard footsteps. Avni was on a phone call. She was wearing a black top and blue pants. A long black cotton jacket and a red knit hat was to protect herself from the cold winter day. Avni looked at Neil and gave a smile. Neil smiled back but Nichole's stare did not go unnoticed by him. "I'll drop you." Neil said to Avni, as she ended the call. "No, its okay. Emilie is outside, waiting for me. You can come and pick me up at 2 p.m. I'll send you the location." Avni explained. Neil just gave a nod. He got up from the couch and walked her to the door. "I'll miss you.." Neil murmured as Avni bent down to search for her shoe from the cabinet. She turned around as she felt an unknown fear in his tone. "Whats wrong?" Avni asked, moving closer. Neil opened his mouth a few times to reply. But he could not make up his mind, Maybe I'm wrong to have such an opinion about Nichole. I just met him yesterday, and he is a close friend of Avni. She might feel bad, if I bring up such an opinion about him.
Avni crooked an eyebrow as Neil was drowned into a sea of thoughts. Neil quickly shook his head and smiled. "Nothing." Avni let out a sigh and hugged him. Neil hugged her back for a while and gave a quick peck on her lips, before she hurried to exit. He really didnt want her out of sight for even a split second. But.. Neil let out a sigh before walking in. He'll have to get Marcus's help to keep him occupied until afternoon.
