SONIC FANFIC (cringe)

Grief

Shadow) Damn!  God dammit!!

Shadow hit the ground with his fist, cursing and yelling into the grass below him.

Silver) Shadow calm down...  Rika tricked you...

Willow) At least we got the thumb drive.

Willow fiddled with the thumb drive in her hand until Shadow got up and snatched it away from her

Shadow) Who gives a shit about the damn thumb drive?!  It's probably filled with Sonic's fetish folders!!

Shadow crushed the thumb drive in his hand and let the debris fall to the ground.  Willow frowned.  She had so much built up anger from the way Shadow has been acting.

Willow) Shadow stop!  You're such a goddamn idiot!!!  Rika doesn't want you anymore!  She moved on!  Why can't you fucking see that!!! 

Silver stood in shock while Shadow growled and charged after Willow, then pinning her to the ground. 

Shadow) You dare talk to me like that!!  Rika is everything to me!

Silver flung Shadow off of Willow with his telekinesis and slammed him into a tree.

Silver) Willow has taken enough hits today!  Rika is gone now Shadow, we need to be worrying about their next attack!

Silver let go of Shadow and he fell to the ground.  Shadow stood up then fell back down in tears.  Silver and Willow stood in shock.

Shadow) it's not  fair!  I gave her all of my love and she just left me for some recolor!

Shadow curled up into a ball and sobbbed into his hands.  Silver whispered to Willow.

Silver) I thought I'd never see the ultimate life form cry

Willow) he must be going through the stages of grief...

*Flashback*

The smell of fire is all shadow can keep his mind on, unable to concentrate. The buildings around him crumble to the ground. Screams fade as more and more of the small town dies away. Sonic is off battling Eggman in the ship above as everyone else has retreated. Shadow was about to chaos control when heis interpreted by a small scream in the distance, quickly he runs to the scream hoping that the freedom fighters can at least save one mobian from this tragedy. 

???) HEY LET ME GO PUT ME DOWN! 

A grey cat with blue hair thrashes about in the hand of one of Eggmans robots. Then shadow speeds in slashing off the arm of the robot holding the cat. She falls from the grip toward the ground as shadow appears under her catching her from being flattened from impact of the ground as soon as she touched his arms he chaos controls away from danger. 

Shadow and the female cat appear in his room. 

???)... Uh.. Agh 

The cat pushes her way out of shadows arms

Shadow) are you ok? 

???) uh, yeah thank you.. Who are you anyway? Where am I? 

Shadow) well I'm shadow, and right now you're in my room at the freedom fighters HQ. And you are? 

???) oh, I'm Rika, nice to meet you shadow

They both shake hands as Rika shows him a warm smile before pulling him into a hug, shoving her face into his chest floof making shadow blush tremendously, 

Rika) and thank you so much for saving me

Shadow) ah, anyday. 

*time skip forward @ Chao Garden*

Silver) Oh my God!! Willow look at this one! 

Willow) Aww it's so cute! But we have to make sure we choose the perfect one! 

Rika) haha you're so picky Willow

Willow) ah shut it little kitty cat. 

Willow and Silver approach a two-toned Chao that looked like it had just been born, Willow picked it up and rocked him gently on her arms. Silver tickled the small chaos belly and it squirmed around.  

Silver) let's name him Chip

Willow) Chip? I like that name

Rika and Shadow walked up to a timid purple Chao sitting behind one of the fruit trees.  Rika crouched down and quietly called the Chao over then Shadow did the same.  The tiny Chao hesitated but then walked up to Rika and hid underneath her legs.  Rika picked up the Chao then looked at Shadow. 

Rika) What would you like to name her? 

Shadow) hmm..  Let's name her Eclipse 

Rika) its perfect

Rika smiled at Shadow as she petted Eclipse's head gently.  Shadow smiled back at Rika and blushed faintly. 

*end flashback*

Shadows sobs began to fade as he looked up at Silver and Willow.  They both looked at Shadow with a very concerned look.  Suddenly Shadow bolted away back to the Knothole.  Willow tried to chase after him but Silver stopped her. 

Shadow) I can get her back..!  I couldn't save Maria but I can save Rika.. 

Shadow opened up his small dresser drawer and pulled out a photograph of him standing next to Rika smiling with the small chao. 

Shadow) what will eclipse do? How can I even confront her about it? 

Silver)oh shadow. Listen whatever happens everything will be OK. 

Willow) yeah we'll make sure of it

Shadow) thank you for the concern but you can't make sure of that I mean you all saw what happened to Rika, everything was fine and then-

Eclipse flies over from upstairs and lands in Shadows Lap making a very content sound. 

Shadow) then I was abandoned. 

Willow) what if scourge did something to her? 

Both the Male hedgehogs look over at willow. 

Silver) what do you mean by that love? 

Shadow)what do you mean did something to her? 

Willow) what I'd he put her under a spell or some shit? Like Rika has never been like this and I've known her most of my life. She wouldn't just do something so heartless expesially for a guy she just met. 

Shadow looks back and forth at silver and Willow waiting for him to add on. 

Silver) if that is true isn't there a way to shut it off?

Shadow) so you mean reverse it? 

Silver) quiet. We're trying to get Rika bak

Willow) stop the stupid bickering. And yes maybe if ut hadn't already and if ut has we probably only have a set amount of time before she really switches sides. 

Shadow) so there is still time to get her back? 

Willow) I guess I'm not entirely sure

Shadow) we have to go back!

Silver) hold your Mobians shadow well get our tails handed to us if we go back there

Willow) we have to train a bit, and heal up from earlier  let's just relax for now.. 

After Willow and silver left the room Shadow looked down at Eclipse who was asleep on his lap. 

Shadow) don't worry Eclipse, I'll get Rika back...
