Shadow stares at the object in his hand. Thoughts race through his mind. 'how is the scepter even here? What does this mean for mobius? Who the fuck is this lemur girl and how did she get this? Can she be trusted?' he was snapped out of his train of thought by tails

Tails) oh hey shadow, I didn't think you'd be in here with the girl. But I've hooked her up to keep an eye on her. She's not dead. But she was extremely banged up when silver brought her here. I'm not sure how long she'll be unconscious for.

Shadow) can you see where she's from?

Tails) no I cant unfortunately, we will have to wait for her to awake.

Willow and sonic enter the room

Willow) this is who we found.

Sonic) where was she? She doesn't look that great.

Willow) she was thrown out of a broken warp ring before it shattered. We also found-
Shadow stood up and hid the scepter to prevent panic. He wanted to find out if it was real on his own.
Shadow) No evidence of where she came from.
Willow looked over at the red and black hedgehog with confusion.
Shadow) all that seemed to come out of the portal was her.

Sonic) hmm that's strange. Tails buddy, how long do you think it'll take till she wakes up?

Tails) I'm not sure sonic.

Sonic) hopefully she wakes up soon so we're able to help her, I'm going to go scout the area of where she came out with silver and Willow. She might be an anti.

Tails) ok sonic, be careful

Sonic) eh no need with me, I got speed. Just make sure there's always someone watching her.

Sonic and Willow exit leaving shadow and tails with the lemur.

Tails) so why are you here anyway shadow?

Shadow) am I not allowed?

Tails) uh-h no? It's not that it's that this is just.. Unusual for you.
Shadow glared at tails

Shadow) you don't know the first thing about me fox boy. And id like to keep it that way.

Tails) oh... Fair enough I guess.
Tails let's out a sigh before turning back around in his computer chair as he continues to do whatever he was doing

Tails) *under his breath* you were alot nicer when Rika was here..
Shadow whips his head over at tails

Shadow) excuse me.

Tails) w-what I didn't say anything.. Swear!

Shadow) sure.
The next two hours were uder torture. Nothing but awkward silence. For tails at least.

Tails) listen shadow I need to go to the store for some new upgrades, you think you can watch-
Tails looked over to find a sleeping shadow, he hovered over with his tails and landed in front of shadow before cautiously tapping on him.

Shadow) w h a t.

Tails) sorry for waking you, I'm leaving for a bit watch the lemur ok b Y e.
Without being able to respond tails runs out.

Shadow) that damn kid, ugh well. Alone time is nice I guess we'll almost alone time.
He gets up and walks over to the lemur who has not yet awaken and let's out a huff.

Shadow) tails probably doesn't know what he's doing, you look dead to me.
He turns around and starts to trot away when he hears a noise. He whips back to see the small female lemur let out a yawn.

???) mghh where am I?
She sits up and rubs her eyes as she briefly looks around. She looks back at shadow still in a semi-daze

???) Oh thank God you're here sweetie, you have any idea where we are Meph-
As she completely comes to her senses she goes silent and glares at the red striped hedgehog as she drops her ears back.

Shadow) oh look you're not dead meat. Now I have a couple questions for you.

The lemur gives no response as she tries to stand up unfortunately her injuries keep here where she is.

Shadow) didn't know you where injured? Oh well. You're not really going anywhere. Now.
He walks up to her standing about three feet away just to be safe.
