Merlin: Arthur's Magic

A True Warning

A/N: Sorry this chapter came out so late writers block. Gwen and Arthur are now secretly dating. Morgana and Merlin know about it.
4 weeks later: Thursday

It had been four weeks since Aithusa had come to stay at the palace and each day was a struggle to keep her hidden as well as Arthur's magic.

It was ten o'clock in the morning; Arthur was reading a book about protection magic and Merlin was doing his chores when there was a knock on the door. Arthur quickly shut the book and put another book ontop. The door then opened and Leon came in.

"Sire your needed in the council chamber immediately." Leon said then he left

"Let's go." Arthur said

They left the room, closing the door behind them and headed down to the council chambers. When they got there all the council members, Morgana, Uther were there as well as a middle age woman from the outline village.

"What's going on?" Arthur asked

"Our crops are dead all of them. Not a single one." The woman said

"Did this happen overnight?" Arthur asked

"Yes my lord they were live and well just twelve hours ago but now....now there is nothing, nothing every crop is dead." The woman said

"Arthur go to the village and see what's going on, distribute food immediately. Someone give this woman food, water and a bedroom." Uthur said

"Yes father." Arthur said then Arthur and Merlin left

About forty five minutes later Arthur, Merlin and the knights Gwaine, Leon and Lancelot left the castle grounds.

"What do you think it is?" Leon asked

"Maybe magic." Gwaine said

"Well we know what Uther will do if it's magic." Leon said

"Yep." Gwaine said

An hour later: 1:45pm
It was now early afternoon when they arrived at village. As they arrived they saw that the crops were drooping, the grass was brown and a plants were dried out. Everyone in the village then looked at them.

"We're here to help we have enough food for one week while we figure out what is going." Arthur said then he got off his horse and everyone else did too then he turned to the knights and continued to speak "distribute the food and Merlin come with me."

They then did what they were told. Merlin and Arthur went over to the crop. Merlin then examined it for a few moments before Arthur spoke.

"Is it magic?" Arthur asked

"I believe so. But I should take a sample to Gauis just to be sure." Merlin said

"Okay. You do that I'm going to get everyone." Arthur said then he left and Merlin put a sample in the bag and went back to Arthur

An hour or so later they were back on their horses and heading back to the palace.

When they got back at around three thirty ish Merlin and Arthur went straight to Gaius's chambers. Merlin and Arthur went inside and he was reading once he saw them Gaius put the book down.

"What's going on?" He asked

"We brought back a sample from the village and we think it might be because of Magic that the crops are dead." Merlin handing the bag to Gaius

Gaius looked at it the spoke "it does look like it was caused by magic." Gaius said

"Thank you Gaius." Arthur said then they left to go find the king
