The Emrys Stone Staff Part 1

A/N: Morgana and Merlin are secretly dating and Morgana knows about the baby. Arthur is still getting used to becoming a father. Lancelot and Gawain know that each of them know about the magic. Aithusa has gone back with Kilgharrah. Please comment.

It was noon Merlin and Gaius were in the chambers looking at books while Arthur trained his men. For weeks now Merlin, Gaius, Arthur and even Morgana couldn't find anything in the countless books; it seem as though how to kill a dark angel wasn't even in one single book or maybe it wasn't even possible.

"Merlin I think it's time you and Arthur go to the Druids." Gaius said

"Okay." Merlin said

He then left and to go to Arthur's chambers since he would be back soon from training plus he needed to talk to Arthur. When he got there Arthur had gotten there before him.

"Where were you?" Arthur questioned

"I was looking at books to see if there was anyway to stop the black angel. Nothing. Gaius suggested to go to the Druids." Merlin said

"Uh okay. But what about the patrols. Leon, Perceval and Elyon still don't know and...." Arthur was interrupted by Merlin

"Arthur it will be fine don't worry about it." Merlin said trying to calm Arthur's nerves

"Okay well if we get caught I'm blaming you." Arthur said pointing at Merlin

"We won't come on." Merlin said

Arthur and Merlin left the castle, got their horses and left the castle walls. They rode through the woods, taking the long way to avoid the patrols. Eventually an hour later they arrived. Merlin tied the reins of the horses to a tree then walked through the bushes and came to the camp.

"Arthur." A little girl said excitedly

"Hello Violet." Arthur said

"Look at what I can do." Violet said excitedly she then put her hand over a twig and said a few words then it floated and set it down

"Wow that's so cool." Arthur said then he continued to speak "where's Ace?"

"He's in the tent." Violet said pointing to a white tent

Merlin and Arthur went to tent and peaked in unsure whether or not to go in. A couple seconds later Ace noticed them.

"Come in, come in." Ace said and gesturing to come in

They walked in and over to him.

"So what can I help you with?" Ace asked

"Well I'm you've heard the warning about the dark angel taking my child when it's born." Arthur said

"Yes I have." Ace said

"Well we were hoping you would know why does she want to take the baby and how we can stop her." Merlin said

"I do. There is a ritual that says to change back into a guardian angel you must take a newborn baby and raise it as your own until it is an adult. I believe that she wants your baby because she also wants revenge on your family because like everyone wants is the magic to return to Camelot. The only object that is such powerful to destroy such a creature is called the Emrys stone staff." Ace said
