Iris' P.O.V;

I was in mine and Joy's room planning phase 8 and everything was going great so far. 

"Okay you need to be really dressed up" Joy said looking through my clothes, "Joy not this again" I groaned "of course not" Joy said and I sighed in relief, "you need to be even more dressed up" Joy said before groaning in frustration probably because she couldn't find any clothes from my closet and I smirked. 

Joy walked out and came in with such a girly outfit, "no! You got that from Amber closet, didn't you?" I questioned "what's wrong with my clothes?" Amber called from the doorway, I looked and saw Amber frowning and Patricia holding in a laugh. "Nothing, I love your style but half your clothes are too girly for my taste" I tried to make her feel better "oh okay" Amber shrugged.

"So how's it going?" Patricia asked "great" I answered "so you guys know what to do?" I added "distract Fabian" Amber replied "yes" I smiled "start now" we all said and Amber and Patricia left to start their part. 

"Iris don't just sit there get ready" Joy demanded "okay calm down" I said standing up and grabbing the clothes out of Joys hands and going to change.

I walked out.

"OMG you look stunning" Joy exclaimed, turning around to look at me, "thanks" I replied "10 minutes" Joy mentioned "to my 'heartbreak" I said using air quotes on heartbreak while Joy just smirked. "Go down now" Joy said pushing me out the door. 

I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs and sat on the couch. I looked at the clock, '4 more minutes' I whispered smiling. 

"What are you smiling for?" Jerome said and I jumped, "Jerome you scared me" I stated while clutching my heart, "sorry but answer my question" Jerome replied "why do you care?" I questioned "listen I know what your doing" Jerome stated "what am I doing?" I asked "oh you know" Jerome smirked as I looked at Mara who looked at me with wide eyes.

"You know nothing" I commanded looking into Jerome's eyes and he's eyes flashed a gold color "I know nothing" Jerome nodded while walking away.

"What was that?" Mara questioned "i don't know" I shrugged "it's like you have some secret powers or something" Mara laughed but she stopped when she saw I wasn't laughing.

"You don't have secret powers, right?" Mara raised her eyebrows "no of course not I am just really confused" I lied "same" Mara agreed "but this is Jerome we're talking about" Mara mentioned while chuckling at the end.

"Yeah he was probably joking around or just pranking us" I tried to explain "speaking of that" Mara commented "what?" I questioned "remember that paper I found" Mara started "yeah" I replied "they some how found out that we were planning on pranking them so they started a plan to prank us and the paper was there plan" Mara explained. "So we know what they are going to do" I smirked "yeah after you're done with phase 8 and 9 we can meet up and read it" Mara suggested "but it would be after curfew" I pointed out "so" Mara shrugged "turning evil Mara" I remarked as Mara just winked before going upstairs.

I checked the clock again and half a hour had passed, 'so good so far' I thought. 

I sat down and before I knew it an hour passed and I got a text. 

"Phase 8 complete" - Patricia 

Followed by another text.

"We are coming so get ready" - Amber

Time to use my great talent of fake crying to really bring this home. Timing had to be perfect, I made sure to ran out just as I heard the door close. I made deliberate eye contact with Fabian and I had to stop myself from breaking when I saw the guilt and regret in his eyes. 

"Iris, I am so sorry" Fabian apologized "you know you keep saying that you're sorry yet you keep doing the exact same thing you apologised for" I remarked "should I be believing you?" I questioned as Fabian tried to respond but I didn't give him the chance. "Thanks for showing me who I can trust" I continued walking up the stairs before turning around, "and who I can't" I finished before turning on my heels and running to room.  

As I reached my room with my hands wiping away the fake tears, Joy looked at me, worried for a second before laughing as she remembered the plan. 

"Phase 9 complete!" I cheered as Joy and I high-fived, "I see it went well" Joy smirked, "Jerome knows" I mentioned as I sat down next to her. "What?" Joy questioned "how?" she added "I don't know" I shrugged "but you know what I told about me being a Goddess and stuff and how I can manipulate people" I reminded her "yes, why?" Joy asked "well I think I manipulated Jerome" I admitted. "How?" Joy asked "I don't know but Victor told me I have special powers and that I can manipulate people so I think it has something to do with that" I answered "oh they built a library so we can go" Joy offered "it is bound to have Egyptian stuff so we can go research" she added as I agreed.

"It's ten o'clock you have 5 minutes then I want to hear a pin drop" Victor interrupted our conversation. Joy and I didn't bother doing anything as it was hard to hear us in the attic unless we made a loud sound. 

"I forget that we have to go to Mara and Patricia's room" I reminded Joy "oh yeah" she stood up as we walked out carefully not to make a sound. 

We knocked before going in to see everyone apart from Nina all sitting in a circle with the paper in the middle. We went and joined in the circle,  "okay everyone is here so let's get ready and see what the boys are planning for us" Mara started "shh" Patricia interrupted "what?" Amber question "listen" Patricia instructed as we all got quiet and listened. We heard footsteps, followed by the sound of the girls bathroom door opening. 

We opened the door, just a peak, to witness the boys changing my hair shampoo with what seemed like green high dye. 

After they walked away we all started talking again. 

"As you can see that was one of the pranks from Fabian to Iris the rest for Iris and us is..." Mara begun.
