Iris' P.O.V; 

I wake up and get ready before making my way downstairs with Joy. On our way down, we bump into Fabian and Joy takes this opportunity to race away and leave us alone, as I curse at her, under my breath. 

"Hey Iris" Fabian smiles, "hey Fabes" I reply "do you wanna talk to me now?" I ask as Fabian nods and gently takes my arm to pull me away from everyone. 

Just as he opens his mouth to say something, Nina comes down the stairs. Noticing the awkwardness, she stops in her tracks, "did I interrupt something?" Nina asks. "Oh nothing just Fabian was just going to tell me -" I begin, "no you didn't interrupt anything" Fabian quickly interrupts me which causes Nina and I to give him a weird look. 

"Weren't you going to tell me-" I try again, "no!" Fabian nervously exclaims "I have got to go, maybe another time" Fabian says as he lets go of my hand, before pulling Nina out of the house. I stare at where he just ran out, in confusion, before shrugging it off and walking over to the others.  

"So what did he say?" Joy asks as she eats her breakfast, "i'll tell you later" I whisper, not wanting anyone to over hear but Joy has other ideas as she pulls me up before pushing me into Mick and Fabians room. 

"What are you guys doing here?" Mick jumps back as we burst into his room, "Mick can you please leave? I want to talk to Iris in private and this is the only private room" Joy states. "why this room? why not Alfie and Jerome's?" Mick asks confused as to what is going on, "because yours is the only decent boys room" Joy answers "still" Mick pouts "please Mick, go talk to Mara she's lonely" I chime in as Mick sighs before standing up and leaving. 

"You better not take anything or mess anything up" Mick tells us before shutting the door "we won't" Joy yells back at him. 

"So what happened with Fabian?" Joy impatiently questions "I don't know" I shrug "he was acting really weird" I mention. "What did he do?" Joy asks "I asked him if he wanted to tell me about what he wanted to tell me about yesterday and he nods" I recount to Joy "then Nina came downstairs and he became very nervous and told me that we would talk another time and then grabbed Nina and ran away" I explain. 

"I'm so confused because one minute, I think he has a crush on me and other times, I think he still is in love with Nina" I sigh, sitting down on Micks bed. "I mean what is he trying to say, he is sending me so many mixed signals" I say, letting my head fall into my hands. "Well we both know that boys are confusing" Joy sits next to me "so don't worry about it and lets focus on other things" Joy embraces me in a hug, We remain like that before we overhear Mara and Mick arguing about something.  

We rush out of Mick and Fabian's room to only just catch Mara who is making her way out the door. We send Mick an apologetic smile before following Mara. 

"What is going on with you and Mick?" Joy asks when we finally catch up to her, "he was planning on moving to Australia without even telling me" Mara tries not to cry. "Maybe he was going to tell you later" I suggest "maybe but I would have preferred if he had told me before he went and bought the tickets!" Mara exclaimed. 

"He already bought the tickets?" Joy questions in shock "and he didn't even tell anyone?" I add as Mara sadly nods. Joy and I wrap our arms around her to comfort her. 

"He promised me that we would not have any secrets" Mara lets a few tears drop before quickly wiping them away, "maybe he had a good reason" Joy suggests "I agree with Joy, maybe you should let him explain his reasons, you never know he may have had a good reason" I try to reassure her.
