She's a Goddess

Raspberry Cupcakes and Grandmothers.

A/N: It just occurred to me that I have been writing this in past tense and I kind of want to shift to writing in present tense as it's easier and more in line with the plot. So lets ignore that tiny factor thanks :). 

Joy's P.O.V;

Iris and I finish getting ready for school. As we are walking out of our room, we see the bathroom isn't occupied, we knock on Amber and Nina's door but get no answer so we knock on Mara and Patricia's door.

"Finally" Mara answers, still in her PJ's, "oh it's you guys, I thought you were Amber or Nina" Mara says. "They are not in their room" I say, "neither is Patricia" Mara mentions "oh" I reply, knowing they were probably in their little group. "Well bathroom's all yours" Iris smiles as Mara nods before grabbing her stuff and going into the bathroom.

Iris and I go into the dining room and Fabian, Nina, Amber and Patricia aren't here but Alfie is in the kitchen doing who knows what. I go to my seat but Iris goes to the kitchen to talk to Alfie.

Alfie's P.O.V;

I woke up early, got ready before going to the kitchen to make raspberry cupcakes for Amber and hopefully she will agree to be my girlfriend. 

Amfie will finally happen. 

I am putting the cupcakes on a plate as Iris comes up to me. 

Looking up, I can understand why she is a Goddess. I mean she is the most beautiful person in the world and when you look at her and her beautiful blue eyes, you just feel hypnotized. 

"Hey Alfie." Oh even her voice is angelic.  

'Snap out of it Alfie, you like Amber, I mean you are making cupcakes for her' I think to myself 'I know but Iris is just so beautiful' I argue back in my head before realizing that Iris is staring at me, waiting for an answer. 

"Oh hey Iris," smooth Alfie.

"What you doing?" Iris asks "making cupcakes" I reply, "what type?" she questions. "Raspberry" I answer with a large smile, "ah, for who?" she teases. "Amber but you can have them" I quickly give her the cupcakes but she refuses. 

"Thanks but no thanks, I don't like raspberry" she says with a sad smile, "oh I can make you chocolate chip ones" I begin looking for chocolate chips,"or any type of cupcakes you like" I quickly add.  

"Alfie stop" Iris demands and I immediately stop and turn to her. 

"Yes my dear" I say "it's fine" she reassures me "I don't feel like cupcakes but I bet Amber will love them unless she's allergic to raspberry or something" Iris jokes.

"What is this mess?" we hear Trudy say from behind me, I turn around to see Trudy standing there arms crossed waiting for an explanation. "Well I was making cupcakes and it just kind of happened" I shrug, "whatever, you two clean it up" Trudy commands before beginning to put the breakfast she had made, on the table. 

"Sorry Iris" I apologise for her having to clean with me, "it's my fault for wondering what you were doing" Iris laughs. Oh my days, her laugh is like music to my ears. 

After we are done cleaning, Iris leaves the kitchen while I am forced to help Trudy by washing everyone's plates. 

After Iris leaves, I feel as though I am back to normal, not in a daze. Making me realise that when she was here, I was feeling as though I was hypnotized or under the control of something. 'I definitely need to tell the guys later' I say to myself.
