The connection shuts off and communication with the other person is cut short. The monitor clicks and beeps until it flashes green, then goes dead. Another failed attempt to communicate with anyone outside these damn robot infested walls. You'd think with all their advanced tech, it could get a lousy connection past the metal walls they built around the city.
A loud knock sends you tossing the old computer out the broken window and has you climbing down through the rusted metal floors to the sewers in a heart beat. You crawl through a few robot-rat infested vents to reach the alleyway and make a run back to base. The glowing, neon lights of the city lights up the way until you're into an abandoned building filled with kids and teens just like you, all with a single purpose:
To get the hell out of this city.

► BRIGHTNESS: ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ The city of Harlem was once a technological powerhouse, but things went too far. Servant robots overthrew humans and became the master race, controlling government and most upperclass jobs. Humans are seen as inferior and treated as such. Murmurs of rebellion runs through the streets, a slow death to those caught speaking it.
► SENSITIVITY: ▆▆▆ Children were put to work, separated from their parents at birth in this new society. A certain number of kids are able to escape these harsh conditions to find their parents or join the rebellion.
► GRAPHICS: HIGH This is basically an era of cyberpunk. Gaming is much more realistic for those who can afford the luxury. Crime is mainly from the rebellion to strike fear through the 'hearts' of the robot race. Other humans give their silent support through anonymous care packages left where most of the rebel children are seen.
► DIFFICULTY: EXPERT PLAYER There's some form of training at the rebel base, mimicking old youtube tutorials and trying to reenact movie scenes. It sounds ridiculous, but it gets the job done. Weapons are stolen from the robotic cops themselves by tampering with their systems and causing them to crash. Their 'corpses' are looted for any goods and high tech weapons. They wanted a battle, we're giving them a war.
