the world didn't want you. no one did. except a.h.
a program for troubled youth. they would make you reborn anew. their numbers spoke for them. damn math and it's alluring pie charts, someone cursed.
you weren't really a bad kid. bad things just happened around you. a flickering candle that caught the curtains by chance while you were near. a pipe burst as you washed your hands. they were only voices in your head, your imagination because the dog definitely didn't just talk to you. he wanted to go for a walk.
a.h tells you that you have a "gift" that needs to be tapped into. they didn't say how. they didn't mention the scalpels or tubes or endless needles. all of those needles. this was all to trigger that "gift" inside you. pain stoked the fire within and sent heat coursing into your veins. plumes of smoke came from one kid, another brought people to their knees with their singing. this was your "gift". pain was a.h's gift.

the first batch of troubled kids tested on by a.h. they're the oldest of the bunch, ranging from highschool seniors to college sophmores. their powers are great but unstable, the rocky start to a.h's research. the emotional and physical scarring is greatest here. no one wants to tell the story behind the wounds. it is the fear of reopening them that holds their tongue. generation a: angels.

second generation of experiments by a.h. they are younger than the angels, going from 14 to 17. their powers are slightly weaker here but much more stable, making them more reliable and trusting to use. gen b is used to maintain the other generations and help around like maids. generation b: bishop.

gen c, the perfected group, or - close enough at least. this is by far the youngest and most loyal group. they don't know of the pain a.h caused the angels and a.h plans to keep it that way. gen c has powers matching the strength of the bishops yet have much more stability. gen c has been utilized to help the other generations become more powerful and stable. a slow and difficult process. generation c: catalyst
