The second I saw the sun peaking over the trees I was off to the specified location Alpha had told me Héth would be waiting. Sure enough when I got there he was curled up sleeping soundly on the river bed. I tried not to wake him but I failed as I tripped over a rather large rock and fell on him. Oh boy did he wake up with a start, he jumped up and ran ten feet before turning to see me laying on the floor. He wasn't angry, surprisingly because if I fell on any other wolf they would make it their mission to mount my head in their den.
Finally after what seemed like forever Héth spoke "Ahh Light it's nice to finally meat you." I kind of choked or "squawked" but I barely talk out of pure embarrassment "S-sorry s-sir I didn't mean t-to." He shook his large head and let out a breath. "No I am sorry for not being ready for your arrival, but let's cut to the chase, we have a long way to walk and I believe that it's within our best interest to start now if you don't mind." As I rose he began to walk downstream on the river bank, I followed not knowing where we were going or what we were going to do but... I trust this wolf even if I just met him, I mean if Alpha made him my trainer he has to be trustworthy, right?
