Héth and I walked a long way before laying down to rest, I could tell that we where now in forest pack territory, and that didn't bother me one bit. We settled down next to the river, I couldn't help but feel uneasy next to the water, I've had bad experiences with it. A long time ago Alpha found me on this river's bed, not because I was left there, it was because I was washed downstream, and at the time Alpha was out in forest clan because his father sent him there to help with patrol.

Héth must have noticed me starting at the river 'cause he asked "Light dear, why are you starring so intently at the water?" I shook my head and simply said "Bad experiences." Héth got up and walked to me, putting his paw on my shoulder "Dear you must know how to swim if you want to be a messenger, for the faster the route the faster the information is delivered." I covered my face with my paws, not ready to face one of my biggest fears.

After a while of silence there was a rustle from a bush behind us. I began to stand up but wasn't fast enough as a tremendous force slammed into my side knocking me off balance and into the water. My first reaction was "I'm gonna die!" Until I heard a splash above me. I looked up and sure enough there was Héth swimming to my rescue.

I don't know what happened after that, I guess I passed out, but before I did I heard a voice. It wasn't a voice of any animal I've ever heard before. It also seemed to know my name, it said "O one who seeks truth, Light, a dragon and a wolf, soon your time will come, soon."
