↪I like the rain, not as much as I like you↩

(a/n) i was planning on updating this book everyday but that doesn't seem to happen. So... my apologies for that.

It was an October afternoon, around 6PM. The rain drops fell making the same constant noise.

Will stared at the small window of the Wheeler's basement, admiring how the drops drew lines in the window's glass as they were slipping in.

Byers had spent the whole afternoon at Wheeler's.

Will personally loved to spend time with Mike and only Mike, he also enjoys being with the rest of "the party" but, sometimes he preferred to be only with the other boy.

He had, as he usually says, "special feelings" towards the Wheeler boy.
Will by that didn't mean he was gay like everyone seemed to believe, oh no no! Will preferred to think that he just liked Mike a little more...

"Earth to Will!! Will are you there?!"  Mike snapped his fingers towards Will's eyes who had been staring blankly at the window for the past five minutes.

"Uh! Yeah?!" Will shook his head facing the freckled boy. Oh, his freckles... Those freckles always made him sigh.
Sometimes, when Mike wasn't looking, he would count them one by one, until eventually Mike turn to him.

"You like the rain?" Mike smiled moving his gaze to the window, watching the rain fall.

Will nodded.

"I like it too..." Wheeler kept looking at the window

There was a bit of silence between them for a couple of minutes, they just looked at the rain slipping down the window's glass.

"Wanna go outside? Let's feel the rain!" Mike jumped in excitement.

"O-Outside?! But i-it's raining!" Will gave Mike helpless puppy eyes.

"Exactly!" Mike grabbed Will's tiny hand.

The two boys got two raincoats, slipped them in as fast as they could and ran outside.

It was raining furiously, but the boys were loving it!

"This rain could fill up Holly's tiny pool in a few minutes, that's for sure!" Mike laughed.

Will laughed with him, feeling his cheeks going hot.

"god, I wish I could push that son of a bitch against the wall and kiss him, right here, right now!" Will muttered under his breath.

"Did you say anything?" Mike turned to Will cocking his eyebrow.

"N-no...!" Will tensed up.

"oh...ok" Wheeler smiled softly and his friend before lifting his head, feeling the rain, falling on his pale skin.

'Will man the FUCK UP!' Byers thought to himself. He took a deep breath and walked up to the other boy. Will stared at the the other's hand for a minute.

'Will! do it damn it! You've been wanting this for years!'

Will deeply inhaled grabbing Mike's hand.

Mike looked at the other who didn't take his eyes off their hands. He smiled to the tiny boy.

Will finally looked at Mike whom have been looking at the him.

"s-s-sorry!" He immediately apologized, regretting everything he did.

Mike squeezed the other's hand, planting a kiss on Will's forehead.

"You know... I like the rain, but not as much as I like you..."
