"joonie..." yoongi whined loudly, lips pouty as usual, "yoonie was gonna color that page." he pointed to a simple drawing of a tiger that namjoon was already filling in green.

"sorry." joon apologized sincerely, flipping through his own coloring book to find a page that yoongi might like better. it was a little kitten with a bow around it's neck and the other cooed at it, immediately forgetting what he was complaining about.

it had been 3 weeks since namjoon discovered that he was a little and yoongi knew that the pink haired man was having trouble adjusting. the first time he came out of headspace, he had immediately started to cry all over jungkook's sweater, sobbing into the fabric. they weren't sure exactly why but yoongi was figured it was a mix of elation and shame. and that seemed to be the case, as the second time him and yoongi played together, namjoon constantly seemed unsure of what he could do or not do. he had even refused a ryan plushie that hoseok got specifically for him.

the pinkette hadn't even told jin the news, though everyone else knew. yoongi figured he was too scared to or he was worried what the older man would think of him. but the blonde was so loving and gentle when he took care of yoongi, he didn't understand why he was so terrified. and plus jin was one of the nicest people he knew, there was no way he would look down on namjoon for being a little.

although, yoongi could sympathize. he remembered how fast his heart was pounding in his chest the day he fell into headspace around hoseok. how nervous he was to open up about this secret part of his life that he had been hiding. it had been just him and mr. woobie for so long, that letting hobi in even though they were best friends, seemed momentous.

but having someone that took care of him without asking for anything in return, someone who valued his thoughts and feelings no matter how small, was worth it. hoseok never laughed at him, or felt like he was being "too much of a baby". he would kiss yoongi's bruised knees if he fell and cuddle him in his arms until he felt better. he would make him mac and cheese at 2 am just to see his content smile. and he never complained that he was too much to handle.

watching joon color, his tongue poking out in concentration, yoongi just wanted that for him. him and namjoon could play and draw together for as long as they wanted. the black haired boy loved their little play dates but he knew having seokjin to support him could bring namjoon 10 times as much happiness.

"i'm hungry." namjoon huffed, finally setting down his crayons, his coloring page a masterpiece, it seemed that he had used every color in the box.

"me too." yoongi hummed, pushing himself up, straightening out the sugar glider onesie that he was wearing. hoseok had bought it for him on his business trip and he wore it at least every other day. "we gots ramen, joonie."

namjoon's eyes widened with joy and he nodded his head, hopping up as well. "do you know how to make it?"

yoongi shrugged, he had seen hoseok do it plenty of times, what could go wrong?

the answer to that question was everything as putting namjoon and scalding hot water in the same room was a recipe for disaster. yoongi had poured water into his ramen, only spilling a little bit on the table, passing it off to the younger man. what he hadn't expected was for joon's sweater to get caught along the table's edge, him to trip over a chair and spill hot water all over his own legs.

a loud cry left his lips and he fell onto the floor with a resounding thump, bottom lip wobbling as he looked down at his soaked pants. "it hurts so bad." he sniffled, eyes big and teary.

yoongi immediately moved to his side, his own eyes wet, hating to see his best friend in so much pain. he remembered when he had burned himself a few months prior, trying to think of what he could do to help. "take your pants off."

"huh?"

"it'll help!" he coaxed, thinking back to what hoseok had done. he covered his eyes with a squeak when namjoon started to shuffle out of his pants, wincing all the while.

the skin was bright red, and started to swell by the looks of it, and seeing it made namjoon panic even more than he already was. "this isn't helping, yoonie!" his breath was starting to hitch and yoongi could tell being in headspace with first degree burns was starting to take a toll on him.

"daddy is at work until 6." he sighed, knowing that even if he called him, them making ramen wasn't enough of an excuse for hoseok to leave to help. "i have to call jinnie."

namjoon shook his head back and forth until he made himself dizzy, pleading to yoongi with his eyes. "no no no, you can't tell him."

"i gotta!" yoongi protested, getting up from the cold tile floor to grab his cellphone. "and jinnie has to find out sooner or later right?"

namjoon started to cry, loud heaving sobs and that made yoongi cry too even as he called jin's number. he hadn't even realized that the call connected and all the older man could hear was crying which made him confused and extremely worried. he made out the words 'joon' and 'ouchie' and that was all he needed to hear.

yoongi didn't even have to say a word because jin was already on his way, getting into his car 20 seconds into their 'conversation'. thankfully hoseok had given jin an extra key to their place in case of emergencies because the boys didn't move from the kitchen, sniffling still when jin burst through the door.

"i came as fast as i could." he stopped to place a hand against the wall, leaning over to breathe heavily. he hadn't taken the elevator, instead he ran up the numerous stairs, not bothering to wait. "what's wrong?"

"joonie's hurt." yoongi whined, wiping his wet cheeks, pointing to the kitchen where namjoon was still sat, pantless and upset.

"daddy..." the other little instantly bawled at the sight of him, making grabby hands for jin. the blonde rushed to his side without hesitation, wrapping his arms around his waist, letting him cry.

"how did this happen?" jin asked, looking down at the scalded skin, grabbing a napkin to wipe his boyfriend's tears.

"stupid ramen." joon mumbled glumly, wincing as the older ran lukewarm water over the burns, rubbing his back with his free hand.

yoongi stood back, a small smile gracing his face as he watched jin take care of namjoon, happy once again. clutching mr. woobie close, he turned away as they started to whisper to each other, jin staring at the other with loving eyes. it felt too intimate to intrude on. he frowned as his stomach started to growl loudly at him and rubbed his empty tummy.

that evening when hoseok got home from work, jin was cuddling them both against his sides, empty ramen cups on the coffee table. he just smiled, walking over to kiss yoongi's head, sharing a look with the tall blonde. both of the boys were sleepy and dozing off against his shoulders after the eventful day they had shared. it was quite an adorable sight but hobi couldn't help but wonder: why wasn't namjoon wearing pants?
