Alex lived on the outskirts of loomville, that town well deserved it's name. There's been attacks, people have gone missing, people have gone jet mad for no reason, there's been murder, the list goes on forever.
However, all those mysterious events have happened in one place and in one place only, the forest. Alex's dad had died in the forest, when Alex was just a baby, the thought of the forest haunts Alex. Many have gone in and have gone missing, never to come out. Alex's dad was a mail man, he was delivering a package to a little old house in the middle of the woods. Alex's dad had gone in with some of his coworkers; Justin, Frank and Stan none of them made it out.
Tomorrow Alex was going on a school trip to the falls, where rushing water awaits them. His class is going to go swimming, a little treat from there principle for finishing there exams.
As Alex slipped underneath his covers he yelled goodnight to his mom and whispered goodnight to his dad.
