It was very awkward walking into the woods with Samantha. You know she was a girl and I was a boy. To tell you the truth ever since 5th grade I've liked her. There is just something about her that makes me like her, something I can't explain.
"Maybe you should just wait here while I go over there" I told Samantha my voice shaking
"Ok, just hurry up" she replied
I followed a path that lead into an opening in the trees. As I started I heard a loud banging sound, like someone hitting on metal. That's odd I thought. No one lives in these woods, not that anyone knew of anyways. All of a sudden all my thoughts went on my dad. He was delivering a package in the woods. Someone must have ordered it, so, there must be people that live in these woods. But why would someone like to live in here I thought they would have to be really crazy or mental. Everyone knew about the history of this forest, come on people!

After I was finished I headed along the trail that I took to see that Samantha was waiting for me.
"You took long" she said
"Sorry" I mumbled
Then I heard the banging sound again, Samantha jumped.
"Let's head back now" she said with fear in her eyes.
"Ya, let's go" I said quickly, "before anything you know happens".
As we started to go back to the falls there was an odd sound not just any sound but a sound that you don't hear often. The sound of someone running after you. My thoughts were drained away from the sound of Samantha screaming. She grabbed me and dragged me running faster. With everything going on all I could hear were faint whispers in the back ground followed by a deep voice, "There is no need to be afraid" I heard, "I'm only going to kill you".
