The next day came too soon, the first ray of bright light shun shining in Alex's eyes. He hated getting up, especially when it was a school morning.
"Alex get up!" he could hear his mother shout.
"I'm up!" he yelled back.
Alex started doing his morning routine, brushed his teeth, did his hair, got dressed. After he was finished he headed down stairs. His mom had already left for work, it was Wednesday, she always left early for work on this day. Alex started working on his homework while he ate his breakfast.
An hour had passed and Alex started to gather his stuff for school. After he checked that he had everything he headed out the door.
It was a nice cool morning, Alex could feel the cool air hitting his lungs as he stepped out of the door. He didn't have a long way to walk to school, just a few minutes. Midway there Alex started to get a surprising icy chill go down his back, that's odd, the thought. He just brushed it off and headed on his way again.
