Chapter 3

Your mom is a police officer so she works crazy hours. Today she worked from 10am to 11pm.

She walks in and see everyone in the living room. She mistakes Wyatt and Cole for you and Finn. She doesn't know Wyatt and Finn but they are still boys.

"Y/n!" she shakes Cole thinking it's you. Everyone wakes up.

"Mom?" you say from the other side of the living room. "Y/n, who are all these boys?" Finn and Wyatt wake up.

This is Finn and this is Wyatt." you say pointing to each one. "We didn't do anything, I promise. Finn is on the couch as you can see. And Cole and Wyatt fell asleep while watching a movie so we just left them." you tried to explain

"That doesn't explain who they are." my heart starts pounding. "Just friends. I promise." I assure mom. I look at Finn and he looks a little sad when I said we are just friends.

"Okay Well next time let me know when you are going to have boys sleeping in my house y/n." she says and walks upstairs to her room.

"Phew that was a close one" Cole says. Wyatt and Finn look at each other "I think we should head to the hotel. I don't want to cause any trouble." Finn says in a sad tone.

"Oh no, you guys are fine. My mom is pretty chill. She was just upset I didn't let her know before she came home." I tried to convince them to stay. I think I'm starting to catch feelings for Finn.

"Are you sure?" Wyatt asks. "I'm positive." I smile. "Okay well I guess we can stay." Finn said while looking at Wyatt.

Everyone goes back to bed. A few hours later I hear some one saying my name and shaking me. "Y/n, are you okay?" I wake up to see Finn with his hand on my arm, standing above me. I gasp for breath.

"Yeah just a bad dream. Did I wake you?" I ask nervously. "No I couldn't sleep and I saw you were tossing and turning a lot." "Oh. Sorry." I feel a little embarrassed but i don't know why.

Finn starts to go back to the couch. "Finn," I whisper loud enough to get his attention.

"Yea?" he turns around. "Can I sleep over there with you? I'm scar-" he cuts me off "yeah, sure!" he blushes a little.

I lay next to Finn and he puts his arms around my waist. I lay my head on his chest. I eventually fall asleep.

You wake up to the sound of your mom leaving for work. You roll over remembering you decided to sleep next to Finn, but he wasn't there.

Cole and Wyatt are playing cards on the coffee table "Good morning sleepy head" Cole says as she realizes you woke up.

"Hey, did Finn leave?" you ask a little sad by the thought of him leaving just like that. Was he upset that you asked to lay with him? Was he uncomfortable?

"Yeah man, he has been gone" Wyatt said. "Oh" you start to walk into the kitchen and Cole stops you by grabbing onto your arm.

"Don't go in there yet y/n." she say frantically. You are a little confused, but go along with it. You sit back down and start watching tv.

Suddenly you hear a big bang coming from the kitchen. "What was that?" you get up and run into the kitchen but this time Wyatt stops you "what are you guys hiding from me?" you ask. Wyatt and Cole look at each other

Wyatt takes his phone out and starts texting someone. He gestures you to sit down. You take your phone out too and texts Finn

You start to get upset. Suddenly Wyatt puts his phone away and he tells you, you can go into the kitchen now.

You walk in the kitchen confused, you look up and there he is, with a bunch of flowers and a teddy bear. "Y/n, will you do me the honors of being my Valentine?" Finn asks

You are left speech less but how could you not say no, well maybe because you just met him 2 days ago. Then again it's just one day it's not like you are dating or something.

"Of course," you say after a few seconds of thinking.

Finn gives you the flowers and teddy bear then gives you a big hug. He loses his hug a little and looks at you, your eyes meet. 'should I kiss him? What if he isn't ready. I can't. But I want him so bad. No you can't. Ughh' you think to yourself but are suddenly cut off by Finn.

He starts to lean in and you can tell what is about to happen. You lean in as well. His soft lips meet yours, they feel like clouds. You don't want this to end but it does.

"Okay you lovebirds, I don't know about you but I'm starving." Cole says from the doorway in the kitchen. Have they been watching us this whole time?

Finn interlocks your fingers with his and walks to the kitchen table. There are homemade waffles and yogurt with granola and fruit in separate bowls. There is coffee made and syrup.

"Wow, Finn how did you manage to do all of this?" you think back to when you woke up and he wasn't there, you were upset but he was just making breakfast. You felt bad.

"Well when you don't wake up til 11 he has plenty of time" Wyatt laughed.

You guys ate all the food on the table. You all felt fat afterwards. The food was so good though, better then your mom's.

"Thanks for all this again Finn," you said looking at all the empty plates and stuff he got you. He planted a small, light kiss on your cheek. "No problem princess." did he just call me princess?

I hope he doesn't think we are dating. I mean I like him but we just met 2 days ago.

"Hey, uh finn, Can we talk... Alone?" you ask him nervously
