Chapter 5

Today is the day. Its Valentine's day. You and Finn have been friends for about 2 weeks. Wyatt and Cole got really close. They are going out today too. They started dating a few days ago. Wyatt and Cole are always out doing stuff together now and you barely see her.

I was just putting my jacket on when I heard a knock on the door. Finn and I had planned on going to a small concert as out 'date'. We still weren't a thing yet even though him and I both really wanted to be. I don't know what I'm doing. I guess I'm trying to play hard to get in a way. I like seeing him want me but not getting it.

The other day he brought up that topic again. He asked how much longer until I'm ready. We've been taking things slow now. We haven't held hands or kissed since that day. We hug every once in a while but not like we did right after we had the talk. I really like Finn.

I go to the door and open it. "Hey finlard" I say and gesture him to come in and take a seat. "Hey n/n (nick name)" man every time he talked made me realize how much more I wanted him. "I just have to shut off the lights in my room and I'll be ready" I yelled while running up the stairs.

When I was finished turning off the lights we left. "So how have you been?" I ask to break the silence, it was only silent for a few seconds but I could tell if I didn't say anything it wouldn't change.

"We just saw each other last night, but I'm doing great. Glad you agreed to come with me." he giggled. Finn and I have been hanging out all the time, almost all day everyday.

We finally got to the fair grounds, that's where one of my favorite bands twenty one pilot's were performing. I've never seen them live before and Finn just happened to find this show. I still can't thank him enough.

"Finn.."
"Yeah y/n?"

Tell him that you are ready to become something more then friends y/n

"I- I am... I'm glad we went together and thank you for getting these tickets. I couldn't thank you enough."

You had one job and you screw it up

Finn just blushed and smiled. The show started and you got on Finns back so you could see better. You still couldn't see so you made your way to the front of the crowd.

You guys were having the time of your lives. But the show had to come to an end. The played one last song, Trees. That song was always the closing song they did. Red confetti flew everywhere while you held up the lead singers drum island in the crowd along with 30 other fans.

After it ended you grabbed some confetti and stuffed it in your pockets.

You started heading home when you realized you wanted to take a picture of you and Finn so you asked a nice man to take the picture. Finn and you danced and spun in circles. It Was rainy and wet so you almost slipped.

"Ahh Finn don't fucking let me go" you yelled
"I won't prin- I mean y/n"

Was he about to call me princess?

When ever he calls you that you feel a special weird feeling. It Was different but you liked it.

You guys went to a pizza parlor after the concert. You ordered 2 large cheese pizza's. You guys could eat all that in one sitting but not gain a pound.

While waiting for the pizza you looked at the picture you and Finn took earlier. You saw how happy you looked with him it literally tore you to shreds knowing Finn could easily be taken by another girl. You knew how many girls loved Finn, he was freaking famous.

Just do it y/n.
Just tell him.

You were to nervous to tell him face to face.

"Y/n, what do you mean you are ready?" he looked up from his phone smiling and blushing.

"I really like you Finn. We have only know each other for about 3 weeks," once you said that he started to frown. "But I think we know each other well enough. I can trust you Finn." with that said he couldn't stop smiling.

"Well then m'lady, will you do the honors of bei-" the waitress cut him off mid sentence with our food. She set it down on the table and asked if we needed anything else. Finn and I shook our heads no and she walked away with a smile.

"Lets try this again, will you y/n, do the honors of being m-" all of a sudden a group of people walked in and ran up to Finn and I. They were all yelling and asking for a picture. I guess they saw the background in the picture I posted and followed us here.

Finn took pictures with all of them, some wanted pictures of me and them, some of me and finn, and some of me Finn and them all together.

Once they left he began talking again. "Okay finally I can ask you now" you both laughed.

"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" you didn't even have to think about it, you thought about it enough the last 3 weeks. "Yes finlard," you pulled him in for a big hug and he hugged you back.

Once you guys finished eating you started walking home. It Was chilly out now compared to how it was at the concert. You didn't bring a jacket and you were shivering.

Finn took his jacket off and put it around you shoulders and pulled you between his arms to keep you warm. You felt safe, like nothing could ever hurt you.

You guys got home and it was about 11:30pm. You texted you mom to tell her that Finn was going to stay the night but she didn't answer.

When you arrived at your house you saw her car was there. The lights in the house was on. You walked inside wondering why your mom didn't text back if she was home from work. You started to worry. "Mom?... Mom?" you yelled while looking through the house.

You heard something upstairs in her room drop. You ran up stairs and Finn followed. You knocked on her door and didn't hear anything so you just opened it.

You were so surprised with what you saw. You looked at Finn nervously and you started to form a headache.

This chapter sucked but the next one will have some fluff and spice. I might update tomorrow depending if I have time. I have after school band practice so I might wait til the weekend to update but who knows.
