(Oh my gosh, I'm sooo sorry I haven't updated. I've really been meaning to, but my sis is on my tail about finishing my Frozen fanfic. Don't worry, though. I definitely haven't forgotten about this one. ;) Hope you all like it!)

"Does anyone know what just happened back there?"

   "Maybe we should go back..."

"Are you sure that was her?"

   "Jack?"

Everyone stared at Jack. The weight was all on him, and he didn't think he liked it too much. He ran his hand through his hair and slammed his staff on the floor of the sled, erupting small snowflake patterns from the bottom of it. "I don't know!" he hollered in frustration. "I don't know..." He slouched on one of the benches and felt Tooth's hand on his shoulder. He smiled. "Thanks." She nodded and gently drifted to the other side of the sled. They were stopped mid-air after their desperate flee. "Why would little Abigail have anything to do with Pitch?" North inquired. "Maybe he got to her before we did," Bunny offered. Sandy made symbols above his head, thinking, but of course no one could tell what he was saying when he "spoke" that fast. Jack just smiled appreciatively and patted his shoulder.

At the North Pole, the Guardians congregated in North's office while yetis were hard at work in the workshops. "There has to be a meaning behind this," Jack muttered. He gripped his staff as he thought. They all sat there and thought, and thought, and thought. But no one could really think. "Maybe if we asked her ourselves..." Tooth offered, but trailed off realizing that it was a horrible idea. "Did you see her, mate?" Bunny chuckled. "We scared the devil out of her. Heaven knows what she'd do if we all came hopping towards her hollering, 'Hey, Abby. We'd like to know the dirty little secret you've got going on with Pitch Black.' Oh, yeah. That's great, Tooth. Great."

"Would you stop?" Jack chastised, stepping protectively in front of Tooth, who had sunk to her knees and folded her wings in shame. "Tooth's already mad at herself for letting Pitch take the teeth. Let her get over that before you try blaming her again. Not like you've got anything to blame on her because she hasn't done anything!"

"Okay, okay. Settle down," North cooed. Jack noticed that he and Bunny's faces were inches apart, both contorted in disgust and loathing. They stepped back, still glaring at each other. Sandy excused himself and left with Tooth in tow. Now North, Jack, and Bunny were all standing in the small office. The air was tense. "I do think that Tooth's idea was good one," North sighed. "But Bunny's right. However-" he held up a finger as Jack scowled and Bunny smirked "-it could be possible that little Abby only thought we were Pitch but didn't know for sure." Bunny and Jack nodded. "True..." Jack pondered. "Alright, let's do it. But I suggest we reduce the amount of Guardians we take with us." North and Bunny muttered in agreement, and they began arguing among themselves over who would not go and who would.

All the while, things were not going well with Abby.
