Today was the Legacy concert but the wasn't the only thing in my mind. I've been thinking about the conversation that me and Jamal had about me liking Brandon. And I came to the realization that I do. But I'm not ready. I got Bella and this music thing to worry about. And I'm not being another man around her. I mean he met her but he hasn't fully met her. So it's best as if I keep things at that level.
I wouldn't say its all Cameron's fault what happen to me. I let it happen. I was so naive, stupid and blind to see what he was doing to me. But that's another story. For another chapter.
Bella: Daddy look I dressed myself.
I turned to sheer her dress I'm the white dress that her mother brought her.
Hakeem: You look so beautiful baby girl.
She reminds of her mom so much. It's crazy how everyday she grows to look like her everyday. I just hope she don't turn out like her.
We got in the car and drove to go pick up Jamal then straight to Leviticus.
Jamal: is it crazy that I even though we preform for Hellas that I still get nervous?
Hakeem: naw I feel the same way but Mal I gotta talk to you.
Jamal: wassup
Hakeem: You was Right I do I like Brandon. But you know what happen with Brandon. And I can bring myself to be with another man. Now I'm not saying that he will do the same-thing. But I'm also not saying that he would do something worst or equally the same to. I just feel like I need to keep it at the level it's at until I feel like I can trust him. Plus I have a daughter man. She is my main priority right now. So there you was right .
He was silent for a minute
Hakeem: come on Mal. We have the closest bond then anyone in the family. I trust you more then anyone. Say something.
Jamal: like you said u gotta trust him and that could take a long time. So do what you gotta do.
We sat in silence until we pulled up to the club.
Jamal: you ready?
Hakeem: Yeah
Jamal: hey Bella you ready to watch uncle Mal and your dad rock the place.
Bella: Yeah!
We walked inside and greeted everyone.
Becky: Keemy I looking good as always.
Hakeem: Thank you Becky
Becky: Jamal look at you looking all Daddish
Jamal: You know I try but look at you thou looking like a snack.
Becky: oh no Boo Boo I'm the whole dam ...
Hakeem: BECKY...
I pointed to Bella
Becky: ooop my bad. But let me take her anyway y'all need to go get ready.
