Finally I was done unpacking, after making sure I had arranged my dorm properly I stepped out into the corridor.
It was bustling with the new students, everyone was excited, parents were helping their children. My parents weren't here, sadly. I had to catch the flight from Hyderabad, India all by myself. After staying with my uncle for a week he drove me to the campus. I was honestly relieve to left his controlling wife and spoilt kids.
I will call my parents later. I check my phone for the college map and started walking to the café. Time to get a snack.

The cafe was a sweet little one. It was named 'Coffeemaker studio'. The structure was mostly glass and the tables and chairs had a wooden surface with black thick rod supporting them, the floor and supporting beams were all a dark hazel colour and the lighting was a LED vintage light which gave the café a rustic modern vibe. I stepped inside to find it filled with people. Today was a busy day for Steanly Lloyd university.I linger away from the line for the register and looks at all my options.
Blueberry Jam muffin? Nah. Eaten it before. I wanted something new.
Black coffee with french style chocolate croissant? Not a fan of black coffee.
"Confused? I would suggest a latte with the double chocolate cake. It is pure heaven!" I turned with a confused look to find a beautiful girl with dark skin standing beside me, she had amazing curly hair and wore her make-up perfectly. She smiled at me and waited for a reply.
"Uh...yea sure. I love anything chocolate" I said with a grin. "Honestly that's the reason I fancy myself."
She chuckled which turned into a laugh.
"I am Nihara by the way" I introduced as her laughs subsidised.
"And I am Keisha. So you wanna order together?" She offered.
I nodded and followed her. After what seemed like forever of waiting for our turn it was finally only one person in front of us. Suddenly a tall, well built boy with dark hair and slightly tan skin entered before us as we proceed to order.
"A orange juice and a chicken sandwich, gimme the one with whole wheat bread" he ordered without looking up from his phone.
"The fuck?" I snapped.
"Girl wa-" Keisha was about to say but I continued my rant at this arrogant ass who dares cut in.
"Yo, Mister Arrogance. I was here before you. There is a line dude." I sassed as his eyes looked up to make contact with mine.
"The line doesn't stand for me." He
Muttered with a threatening note."What? Like you own the school or something?"
"Yeah" he drawled lazily " Nicholas Kim Lloyd, nice to meet you" he continued sarcastically.
Oh shit! is he the son of one of the directors, Marine Lloyd?
My eyes widened in realisation as his grin grew bigger.
"So sweetheart, do you still want me to move" he question with that fucking smug smirk still on his face.
I frowned at him and didn't answer.
"That's what I thought" he mumbled and turned back to the counter by which point the barista already had his order ready. He put cash on the counter and left.
"The order of the next person in line is on me" he said to the barista before leaving.
"I don't need your charity" I retaliated as he was leaving.
