Smith pulled into the building driveway. Keisha ran to the car and sat on the only seat available after Terence, Davis, and Nicholas occupied the others.

"Guys! I have nowhere to sit." I groaned. Keisha shrugged and leaned back in her seat.

"Well...my lap is free," Nicholas said with a grin while he pointed at his lap. I glared and shook my head.

"Keisha, Lemme sit on your lap." I request.

"Girl, I got a girlfriend." Keisha denied and winked at Nicholas earning her a grinned.

I wasn't gonna give up.

"You guys will have to go without me then," I said folding my arm and looking away.

"Yea whatever, can we leave?" Smith asked with annoyance lacing his voice. Everyone shot him a glare. I honestly didn't mind sitting on Nicholas's lap, it was probably more comfortable and warmer than the car seat and then I could let my head rest on his chest- No! we are gonna stay just friends.

"Oh come on...Ni, Just as friends, okay?" Nicholas asked, He looked sad but an amusement still lingered in his eyes.

I groaned a grudgingly bent my frame to sit on his lap.

The car started and I was trying so hard to ignore his arm on my knee and my shoulder. As We left the campus, Davis plugged his phone into the stereo and music began filling the car up. The car drove past the city into the highway.

"The best part you guys," Terence said with a grin, He pressed a button on the controls and almost immediately the hood folded back.

"This is a fucking Convertable?" Keisha Gasped. "I always wanted to this. Just like the fucking movies." She stood up, leaning her hips on the headrest letting the wind carrying back her hair. Terence leaned his head out of the car. A small Smile had taken its place on Smith's lips. Davis had leaned back letting the wind whip his hair around. It all felt so surreal and happy, I laughed and began singing along to the song that was playing, I looked at Nicholas to see how he felt.

He eyes stared back right back into mine. He looked amused and mesmerized.

"What?" I mouthed. He lifted his hand up and pointed at me. I was pretty sure I had gone as red as a tomato. His index finger then brushed against my lips when he put his hand back on my knee. I narrowed my eyes at him and shook my head at him. He shrugged as if to say he couldn't help it. I rolled my eyes and turned away.

We soon stopped at this highway diner.

"Why are we here?" I asked as I jumped out off the car, ignoring the door.

"It's our favorite place, I will explain inside," Davis said as we walking in. The diner was mostly empty. When the waitress saw us her eyes lit up.

"Hey, guys!" The 30 something looking woman said and brought us to a long table. "The usual?" she asked. Nicholas nodded.

"And for them?" She asked looking at me and Keisha.

"She will have my usual" Nicholas pointed at me and then looked and Keisha waiting for her order. I was annoyed that Nicholas had ordered for me, but I didn't say anything. When it came to food I was incredibly indecisive and him ordering eliminated that issue.

"Um...Pancakes!" Keisha said excitedly.

"It's nowhere near breakfast time," Smith said, looking up from his phone.

"It is alright, we have the mix ready," The waitress said and walked away to get us our order.

"So how does the waitress know you guys?" I asked.
