"No way dude!" Keisha bolted at me with a hug. "How coincidental? Same fucking dorm."

I grinned at her as we both stood outside my- I mean our dorm.

"Now we can be ultimate best friends." She said excitedly as I followed her in .

"Or more." I suggested with a mischievous grin and wiggled my eyebrows. She pushed me by my shoulder playfully.

"College seems way more fun now." she mumbled and laid down on her bed.

__________

We had two days to explore the campus and get to know it in accordance to our time table. I spent it mostly hanging around Coffeemaker Studio with Keisha. She had taken a liking for the barista who was usually in for her the evening shift.

"Look at her dude..." Keisha sighed as she noticed her crush going in for her shift. Keisha never bought anything when the girl was on shift, she wouldn't admit it but she was being really shy.

I continued observing the surrounding when I noticed him- Nicholas. This time he wasn't alone, 3 other boys were with him. He was talking to a boy with brown hair. Behind him was a Dark-skinned and muscular (more muscular than the others) boy frowning down at his phone along with a boy with orange hair and really pale skin. All of them were making me question if I was secretly polyamorous.

My eyes wandered back to Nicholas, And they were looking right into mine and he smiling right at me.

SHIT! I quickly looked down at my phone and started acting like I was typing something. I cautiously looked back up a the same place but he wasn't there anymore. I looked around slowly, looking for him, they were entering the cafe.

"Im gonna talk to her." I heard Keisha's defiant voice say as she grabbed my hand and dragged me along with her to the cafe.

No. I cant go in with him there.

She pushed open the cafe door and air conditioning greeted us and she continued dragging me to the empty register. The girl looked up at us with a smile and at the same moment Keisha's steps faltered.

"I can't do it." She mumble softly still looking at the girl.

"Dude you gonna make it all awkward if you just stare at her and walk back out." I whispered loudly.

"Please order for me." She begged and let go of my hand.

"Fine but you are paying." I mumbled back.

I felt strangly self concious, even though I could not see Nicholas and his friends I knew he was a a little further away behind me sitting on a table for four, my mind was screaming at me that he is looking at me. It was bugging me to turn around and to see what he was doing.

Ignoring my urges I stepped forward and smiled at the girl. "Chocolate cake and a chocolate crossiant to go please." I said glancing at the display case which held the goodies.

"I love chocolate cake." The girl said making conversation with me while she put the cake in a box and procced to get the crossiant. I glance back to look at nervous Keisha and she seemed visibly excited to know that the girl had similar likes regarding food.

"That will be $6.50" the girl announced and looked at me. I turned to Keisha to pay for the food. she fumbled to get out a 10 dollar note from her pocket and handed it to the girl.

"I-I love the chocolate cake too and the latte" She said, finally gaining confidence.

"I like the latte too." The girl said, her polite smile turning into a genuine one.
