Prologue

If you're reading this, you're either brave, stupid, or a little bit of both. If you've found something similar to this and already read it then you already know what you're getting yourself into, if not, then you better run for your life. Put this story down and continue with your peaceful life, because this is one life that you don't want.

A life full of running, and training, and fighting strange creatures, at least that's how it was for me once I turned fourteen. All I can say is that it's not easy to be a demigod, but it's not all bad too. I've seen things that normal people obviously wouldn't see, and I've met some interesting people as well.

Some of these people have changed my life forever: Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus and Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, both thought me how to fight, to be brave and courageous. To not let others, underestimate or bring me down because I'm a girl. They're like sisters to me.

Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares, took my fighting stills a little further then Thalia and Annabeth did. Clarisse scares me, but I know she just wants me to do well. Charles Beckendorf, son of Hephaestus, showed me how to craft my armor and my weapons. Something important to know how to do when you're a demigod. Silena Beauregard, daughter of Aphrodite, she's kind and caring, and a lot nicer than other daughters of the love goddess. She reminds me a lot of my mother.

Connor Stoll and his older brother Travis Stoll, sons of Hermes, they're trouble makers but they're a lot of fun to be around. Will Solace, son of Apollo, he's really nice and good with healing. From what I've heard all children of Apollo are. He's also really cute and he and his boyfriend make the absolute cutest couple. Nico di Angelo, son of Hades, he's a little moody, but I would be too if I lost one of my sisters. He's somewhat good at his dark magic, but most of time it ends with something melting and him having to go to the infirmary to see his boyfriend and the camp's top healer. Since Nico started dating Will, there seems to be a little bit of life brought back into his life. I guess you could say the Will is Nico's little ray of sunshine.

Ethan Nakamura, son of Nemesis, is a good fighter, a brave and strong person. But there's something about him that seems.... untrustworthy, but my sister Artemis seems to have taken a liking to him. Luke Castellan, son of Hermes, what can I say about Luke. This story is because of him. Everything that's about to unfold is because of Luke Castellan. I don't blame him for the things you're about to read, so don't you either. There were many of us that felt the same as Luke. Those who felt forgotten or who were unclaimed. So, as you're reading this, don't blame Luke.

Now that you know a little bit about this story, you have decision to make: You can put this down and go back to your normal life like it's always been, or, you can turn the page and take a chance in the world of demigods. But once you do, you can't go back to the way things once were, so think hard...
