"I believe something is bothering your sister" Rena said to her husband as they were laying in bed together,
"What have made you to say that?" Raymond questions
"I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the fact that Steven is giving pumpkin all that attention, and her father had never been to see her once"
Raymond look at his wife this is the first time Pumpkin's father has been mentioned by any one in the family, it was true no one has ever seen Pumpkin's father since Gabriela came from college saying she was pregnant, to the time she have the baby she was almost four now and this was the first time someone think it more so mentioned it, they know her only has pumpkin and that was all they called her if she has other name no one knew, Raymond wonder if his wife could be right, for he too had take knowtist that Steven Scott was taken up with his niece, "I'll have a talk with her" Raymond said.
Gabriela was in the kitchen preparing breakfast when Raymond walk in, "hey sis good morning" he said coming next to her
"Good morning" Gabriela respond,
"Is everything alright?" He ask
Gabriela nod "why are you asking?"
Raymond shook his head "nothing really it's just that you look worried"
"Brother I'm fine" Gabriela said
"Are you sure for I want you to know that in any case I'm here for you"
She knew that much her brother is very supportive of her for he's been nothing but kind and caring to her and her daughter before she started working he took it and himself to do all he could for her, he wasn't a rich man for all he ever own was a small electronic shop where he work and have to employee others, and because he haven't been to college, the man who took the time to teach him could no longer go around so he make the effort to visit and leave something with him at all times, she admire him for his kind heart he wasn't just a big brother but a inspiration,
"If something was wrong wouldn't I have talk to you about it? So you know you would be the first to know"
Raymond smile kissing his sister cheek help him self to a cup of coffee then sit at the table, Rena came down to find them together wondering if Raymond had talk to Gabriela already, hoping he didn't mentioned her, they both look her way when she walk in greeting her both at the same time with smiles,
"Gabriela head came around on hearing the knock on the door,
After resting the bowl of Irish on the table she went to see who it was, surprised that Steven was the one soon as she open the door he push by her into the living room with out a word said Gabriela said nothing to him just walk past back to the kitchen,
" Gabriela " Steven said causing her to pause "Gabriela I came here to talk you you don't go ignoring me like I came here seeking your friendship, you're the one who took my daughter away from me, now you are here acting as if I owe you an apology" Steven said harshly, "you put that little girl in my name with out my knowledge, you kept her to yourself"
"You were married" Gabriela said
"What the hell you telling me you were pregnant have to do with my marriage, I could still father my child Gabriela if you had told me that you were pregnant but how am I to know anyway if she's mind or not you didn't gave her to me and who to tell she could be for anyone only god knows who you had been sleeping with I've only been to bed with you once Gabriela one time why do I have to take the blame"
Gabriela open her month to say something, for she couldn't believe Steven said those words to her, but before she could speak, "shut your damming mouth Gabriela and don't say anything until I gave you the permission to do so understand that I'm not saying you shouldn't be upset for I should have had told you I was married, and I should have known you college girls are nothing but immature and careless think about nothing but yourself, your own daughter, have you ever thought about her, did you tell her where her father is I only hope you didn't tell her I'm her father for until I get her blood sample she's just another child to me"
Gabriela couldn't help the tears to know Steven the man she loves the only man she has ever been with to say those words to her "don't even start with your tears don't have the feeling I'm going to take you in my arms and comfort you no need for self pity either and if ever she's really mine I'm taking her from you maybe I won't even let you see her like you have done, and you though gabby as I stand here I pray that she's mine for you won't see it coming"
Gabriela feet grew weary she could hardly stand on them bracing herself against the counter for its support, Steven looked to be dead serious about it Gabriela heart was racing she want to beg him not to but not when she had so much bride inside of her, she look at him when she heard him take deep breath and sigh"
"Gabriela this wasn't the reason I came here, I didn't come to argue with you"
"Why are you here then?" Gabriela tearfully ask,
"To talk to you" Steven told her calmly,
"You had said more than enough, you can leave now"
"Gabriela I want to help you go back to collage so you can finish your studies"
"And how will you benefit?" Gabriela ask
"You were in the middle off your study when you and I slept together and since you say the child is mine she must be the reason you stop studying, it means its my fault for I got you pregnant its up to you take it or leave it, they start registration in June, what ever it is that the little girl wants I'll take care of it all until you finish studying and get a job,I know you consider your self to be independent, but you can always go back to being the independent woman you believe you are" he rest an envelope on the table turn to walk away but turn around walked to Gabriela take her in his arms and kiss her like a man desperately in need of love, Gabriela eyes open after the kiss was over she watch him towering over her his eyes tightly close breathing in her sent, his fingers lace through hers holding them tightly, he slowly open his eyes in them were so much emotions made the grey in his eyes even brighter, for a while he just stare at her, he let her go when he left and Gabriela heard the door lock she move from where she stand going over to sit on one of the chair her heart was racing out of control and her knees shaking thought she was sitting she felt as though she would fall, She wonder what it was that he is up to one minute he was cursing her the next he was kissing her that so with so much emotions, with the back of her hands Gabriela wipe her tears she got up off the chair ease it back under the table moving over to the counter, she was nearly to put dinner on the table when she hear the car in the drive way when she came out everyone was there. Raymond and Rena had gone shopping with the children and both her parents went to the farmers fair,
The boys ran up the step hug her at the waist "hello aunt" all three said then ran through the door Gabriela heard their feet as they ran up the stairs ,"new toys?" She ask Rena smile and nod she turn to look at her daughter as she drag herself up the steps to the front porch her teddy bear drawing on the ground, she pulled out a chair from under the table then climb on it fold her hands then rest her head down Gabriela could see she's been crying, since she didn't came with a new toy Gabriela Wonder if it was why she was crying,
"What happened with her?" She ask
"We ran in to Steven at the food store what she wanted was to go off with him but he say that he was really in a hurry and could not have taken her so she's like that since he left, I got her this but because she was do upset she ignore it" Rena said handling Gabriela a bag with some girly toys inside, "he promised to stop by later and gave me her bags" Gabriela figure it must be with those stuffs he bring for her on Saturday since he started, Gabriela took stevia off the chair sat down and rest her on her lap, sitting a while with her when it was time to dish dinner she have her clean up and went to the kitchen
" what's this ?" Rena ask seeing the envelope lying on the table,
"These are some collage form I'm thinking of going back to collage"
"Really that's great Gabriela when have you decided to do so?" Rena ask feeling happy she'd made the decision,
"Well I've been hoping I could but someone introduce me to this that is more convenient"
"You should keep them in a safer place than this" Rena said getting up to take them to Gabriela room, "Rena" Gabriela called, walking over to her "thank you" she said with a smile hugging her sister in law,
Deep inside apart of Gabriela she felt excited about going back to study all she really wanted was to become a nurse since Steven is taking the responsible its best to make use of it, he said he'll do all that is to be done for stevia, so Gabriela didn't have a reason not to study,
"Gabriela is planning on finishing her studies so she can become a nurse" Rena announced at the table while they were having dinner,
"That's great sis" Raymond said "when did you decided to do so?"
Gabriela didn't know how to explain that Steven told her they might question why, "someone told me about a place that start registration in June for now I just have to fill out the form"
"Well I hope you go ahead and do it quickly" Raymond added
"Yes dear" Martha said
"This also means we'll have to start putting some money together for your fees"
"No mother I promise you this time it won't be a cost on you"
"So how will you manage to send your daughter to school and study?" Martha ask
"Mother by now and August I'll work something out, this means finding someone to look after pumpkin until someone comes home in the evening"
"What about me?" Martha ask "can't I care for her"
"Mother I know how much you dislike leaving dad by the farm I feel guilty about having you already spending half your day each day looking after pumpkin"
"But honey it is alright she's my grand daughter I love looking after her"
"I know mother and for now you're going to but soon as I get someone you will be able to help dad all day everyday"
Martha smile take Gabriela hand "I pray for you my dear"
"Thanks mother"
"So how are you going to pay for it all?" Raymond ask
Gabriela look at him
"I'm just saying you won't be working so how?"
"Come on honey its easy she can get a loan simply" Rena told her husband Gabriela nod just to end the conversation,
Gabriela plan to look over the papers but before doing that she first help Rena in the kitchen and together put the children to bed after giving stevia a bath the family sat together in the living room when the door knock Gabriela figure it was Steven so she let Rena answer the door, she did hear her say he was stopping by to see pumpkin, it was him he walk in ahead of Rena when stevia saw him she jump from her mother lap running to him, he pick her up and take a seat, soon as he did Gabriela disappear in her room,
It didn't took stevia long to fall asleep after a few minutes of resting her head and getting comfortable on her dad's shoulder,
After her shower Gabriela came to lift stevia off to bed, when she lean close a small amount of her half dry hair flash across Steven face leaving his face wet, he wiped it away but the sent of her hair condition left on his hand.
He looked up at her as she ease away from him he just can't believe how turned on he is by her he wish himself inside of her more than anything else, he knew she hates him and didn't want himself still loving her to be a one way thing, he already is showing so much emotions, the way he felt after kissing her today he wonder what she felt if she felt anything she smells so good, so gooddd he could have her, Rena knowtist how he was watching Gabriela his eyes follow her to the room and back until she take a seat, Gabriela thought he would be ready to leave but Rena and Raymond engage him in a conversation,
"How about a drink?" Raymond ask
"Nothing strong I have to work in the morning"
"Isn't it Sunday don't fireman get any day off?" Rena ask
Steven smile,"of Crouse we get day off mine is on Saturdays " he inform,
"A firefighter life must be real devastating is it?, when you miss the chance of saving someone it must hurt" Rena said
Steven didn't know how to explain to her what it can do to you,
"So you are a fireman now like for four years are less?" Rena ask
Steven laugh "eighteen years actually I became a firefighter from I was twenty eighteen years now"
"Eighteen?" Raymond ask
"Ah!" Rena said easing out her chair,
Gabriela can't believe he's a fireman for all these years she never knew that when they were dating she remember seeing a few scar that he said were cause by work so the marriage wasn't the only thing he kept from her, she knew already that he turn thirty eight for his birthday was in February, it was now approaching the second week in April already the easter break was near, for next week Thursday will be holly Thursday, Gabriela was looking forward to the weeks holidays for her daughter and a few days for herself,
Sunday they all were in church and after church Gabriela sat down to fill out the form putting Steven Scott name at a few places like reference and close contact she wasn't sure if his old number still works but she wrote it after remembering it out of her head,
She knew he said that registration will begin in June but she thought about going by to see what was what,
Monday she call Valerie to let her know she would be late, while while waiting for a car to dropped her at her daughter's school Gabriela saw Steven bright blue Rolex came to a stop at her feet the door open to the back but she was avoiding the ride with him, but stevia start pulling her to the open door, she didn't see Adam until she got in greeting him with a smile saying hello, look around the big spacious vehicle with soft seats and fresh sent he has his window down so it wasn't the air conditioning she knowtist on the front seat he has a laptop and two phone she also knowtist him watching her from his rearview mirror as if she become the road on which he was driving, she pretend to not knowtist he was watching her,
"Hey pumpkin, how are you gorgeous?" Steven ask with a smile as stevia lean between the seats he hug her to him placing a solid kiss on her cheek making her giggle, "want to sit next to me?" He ask putting down a cushion but stevia climb in his lap instead, he laugh bending to kiss her.
Gabriela wonder if he was putting on a show as he was trying to make her feel guilty but for what, maybe if she had went a head and tell him he would say the same thing he said the other day, how was he supposed to know if she's mine you could be sleeping with god knows who at the time we were together, and that he only went to bed once with her as if it takes a dozen time for one to have sex before becoming pregnant, how could he think that of her she haven't been with anyone other than him, wondering if he could really mean all he said and that he'll take her daughter away thinking that he said it because he was angry, she wasn't sure and she didn't want to loose her daughter she was going to do her best to avoid every argument with him, for she never seen him so angry,
Steven pulled to a stop in the school parking lot Gabriela was the first to get out helping Adam with his things so he could get out, Steven hug stevia before setting her to the ground telling her later, he hug Adam,
"I love you" he said
With a smile Adam reply "love you too dad"
He walk up with stevia and Gabriela while Steven wait by the car each time he turn they wave to each other until they couldn't see each other again Steven climb in the car, Gabriela didn't see that he was still there until the car door open in front of her "get in" Steven said in to the tone of his voice Gabriela felt he was ordering her but she did anyway he turn to look at her then start the vehicle,
"Working today miss Simmons?" Steven ask
"I work everyday" Gabriela remarks
"Hope you won't mind being a little late"
Gabriela turn to look at him,
"Don't worry I'm just taking you some place that's all, its not like I'm going to kidnap you or anything like that"
She didn't speak she just look out the window sitting quietly as he took the road to town,
After a hour and more he came in front a business complex on which a sign on one of the door said business hub where they take photo such as I'd, photocopy print and such he took a number for few people were ahead of them they waited for half an hour before she got through, lucky for her she has all what he told her she needed to get copy her t.r.n, I'd card birth certificate insurance card, and such he got his driver's license, I'd and some other documents copy Gabriela believe it was for his own use, next door the complex was the collage he leave his car park in the parking lot of the complex and walk to the collage just few steps away, she wasn't expecting to see so many people there waiting in line she took a seat watching from the corner of her eyes as Steven got up from his seat a few benches from her walking to the exit of the building he was gone for a while, she believe he had left her there, but soon she saw him coming, he came to sit beside her handing her a cold drink, she was thankful for it for the waiting left her thirsty and was glad for something cool, she saw him look at his watch more time than once, it was nearly one thirty when she get to speak to someone, she was surprise he was given information of himself on her application, when they ask what was there relationship, he told then that he father her child, they sat there for half hour giving and taking information she was to wait for a call and from there she'll know which day in June to come it was two fifteen when they got in his car he drove like he was mad dropping her at work after three
then disappear back down the road again.
Gabriela was please to inform her family of what happened down by the community collage she'll know more after she got the call,
Tuesday she was waiting for a ride at the taxi stop she saw the car coming with the believe it was Steven when it got near she saw it wasn't hit it was only a car like his but a woman was driving, she stop to offer her a ride for she knowtist that the little girl was going to Adam school, Gabriela and the woman was seeing each other for the first time but when she got in the back she saw Adam smiling at her and waving at stevia Gabriela with a smile reach out to cuff his cheek between her fingers Selena figure they before met, turn around and gave a warm smile, "hi sweetheart" Selena said when stevia Lean in to look in the front "oh my you're pretty and those eyes I've seen them somewhere before, mommy, where did your daughter get such bold and shinny pair of grey eyes?" Selena ask, Gabriela giggle but didn't answer,
"I'm Selena by the way,I'm Adam's care giver and his dads care taker" she smile
"Gabriela" she said smiling back "nice little girl" the older women said Gabriela could tell she was near fifty a middle size woman with hair plat and rest on her shoulder,
"Thanks"
They were quite for the rest of
the drive to school, they both walk up with the two children, on their way back Selena ask if Gabriela was going home or was there somewhere she want her to drop her, Gabriela thank her telling her she was on her way to McCoy jewelry store,
Since Steven own the place and Selena had gone there a couple of times she know where to find it, "so you work for my boss?" Celine ask
"Your boss?" Gabriela ask
"Steven Scott" Selena remind her
Gabriela mouth stay open for she didn't know Steven own anything apart from the house he live in no wonder he often comes around talking to Valerie wondering why it name McCoy and not Scott, but she is sure Scott is his last name he told her it was so even show her his I'd card even yesterday when he sign on her collage application form that was the name he use, isn't his name Scott? " she ask
"Oh yes McCoy is just a middle name he was name after his great grandpa, he's the first child of three his brother will get married to the girl that manage the store in which you work" Selena explain,
McCoy Gabriela thought its the first time she's learning that he has a middle name she had no idea when she name her daughter McKay its not near anyway, how didn't she learn he had a middle name just like she didn't know he was a fireman, "He's full of so many secret" , Gabriela thought first it was his marriage and child then she learn he's a firefighter for eighteen years, what else is there,
When she gave stevia her middle name she wasn't thinking Steven would have a name such as McCoy, still didn't see where they rhyme, her family up to this day doesn't know her daughter any other name than pumpkin, glad they haven't question it for with Steven coming Rena if no one else would by now figure it out,
At work Gabriela look over her shoulder for Steven who can show up at anytime, since he owns this place her eyes or mind didn't wonder in vain for she looked up to find him hanging over her,
"Good after noon miss Simmons" he greet her
"Good afternoon Gabriela answer,
" I need you to show me a nice pair of earrings" Gabriela looked on both Steven ears wondering when did he start wearing earrings for she remember he never did before,
"Not for me ladies earrings"
"As if they made any for men" Gabriela grumble,
Steven didn't make her see him smile
"And some bangles matching bangles please"
Gabriela look around wondering why out of all the workers free he chose to bother her,
"Getting through sir?" One of Gabriela coworker ask when she saw Steven standing there
"Yes miss Simmons is about to show me what I need" he smile pleasingly,
"Over here" Gabriela instruct him leading the way to the earrings,
"So how is pumpkin to day?" Steven ask when he came up to her,
Ignoring his question Gabriela hand him a pair of flashy chandelier earrings "nice" he said try them on"
"What for Steven? If you're not here to buy anything I do have other customers to attend to"
"I would've come asking for earrings if I didn't need it Gabriela, you think I have time to waist?, just try them"
"For the love of god Gabriela just try the damn earrings"
"For the love of god I will here there satisfied?" She ask pushing the earrings in her ears, Steven pause to admire the beautiful woman standing in front of him the earrings dangling from her ear hanging down her cheek as the breeze from the fan over her head blew her ear making it float these were perfect for her "I'll take them"
"Are you sure? For there are many other to see"
"No these are the ones, just dit them in a nice box and show me bangles"
The bangles were a little lower than the earrings, she had to bend a little to get to them, Steven lean against her where she could feel him hard on her bottom, she jump and stand facing him trembling,
"Frightening isn't it?" Steven ask with a smirk or maybe you haven't forgotten how big and strong it was?"

Gabriela was becoming tired of running into Steven and he kept bothering her, if it is that he want stevia in his life fine by her when ever he visit no problem but he intended on bothering her, when they drove down to the collage on Monday he didn't bother her much then he was at her work place pretending he wanted anything, just because he's boss, Wednesday morning as she was about to climb in a taxi at her daughter school the door close she turn to look in Steven face,
"What are doing now stalking me?" Gabriela ask
"I want to do so much more than stalk you Gabriela but the way you been hiding behind yourself stalking you is all I'm left to do" Steven said to her, "you can go" he told the driver of the taxi,
"I was just going in to that" Gabriela said when the car drove off,
"Not anymore" he open the door to his car,
"Don't you have a fire to put out somewhere?"
"None on hand to be sure but in case you got a fire burning somewhere I'll be more than glad to put it out for you"
"You're a married man you have no chance to my fire"
"Again" Steven said smirking pulling closer to Gabriela so it means you do got a fire somewhere " he tease making Gabriela blood shiver,
"Go home to your wife"
"Let me drop you at work "
"No thank you" she said walking away Steven didn't try to stop her he just watch her with a smile.;
Steven wasn't working until three in the after noon so he decided to swing by the garage to see how business was, its been a while since he have stop by,Drew wasn't just surprise to see him but was glad to see him "hey brother! How are you man?" He ask embracing him, "Is everything alright man what's that look on your face, did something happened between you and your wife?"
"I'm just tired I've work last and still haven't gotten any sleep" Steven said
"Maybe its a drink you need" Drew hand him a glass of Scotch,
"What's this?" Steven ask holding it up to his head to look inside,
"That's gasoline"
Steven smell it and he and his brother both giggle,
"You know I was just about to swing by to get something I forgot at home" Drew said
"Then I'll drop you" Steven said putting the glass down on a nearby shelf, he wasn't going to drink not when he have work in only a few hours once he's to report for duty he can't drink nothing strong, for being afire man means no getting drunk for him.
Drew got in the front of Steven car for he accept the offer to let him take him, thought his car was park in the drive way, they drove slowly to the house where Drew live with his wife two kids and both his parents, much as he told his brother, he would like to get back in a hurry to the way he drives it seems he wasn't hurrying at all,
"For a fire truck driver you sure tale your time" Drew complain,
"There was no fire and this is my car" they both laugh as Steven hug Drew at the shoulder.
Joy Scott Coleman was in the company of her parents, and sister in-law as she and her husband came to visit,"big brother " she almost scream it running to hug Steven it been a while she haven't seen him,"its so good to see you" she said
"Mother" Steven said kissing her cheek
"How are you son?" She ask
Glad to see you stop bye since you move back i see less of you, don't tell me its work, is your wife taking care of you?"
"Mother I don't need my wife to care for me you raise me didn't you?" Steven said his mother smile touching his face,
"Its good to see you son" his dad embrace him when he came to greet him, kissing Valerie cheek,
"So what's bring you by?" Joy ask
"Drew for got something" Steven said turning to look for Drew but already he was gone up the stairs "take a seat will you" his mother said its been a while
Steven sat down he couldn't be long for he have work,
"So how is Adam?" Valerie ask
"He's in school doing great he's good so far"
I should talk to you all about something " Steven said when they were all sitting down
"What happened?" His mother ask
"Yes tell us" joy demand
"Its about my daughter"
"Your what?" They ask
"I got a daughter"

"Some time ago I met this girl, I really like her we've gone to bed once but after that she found out I was married, so she stop seeing me, it was just by running in to her the other day I've learn she has my child"

"She'll be four this year

"We work together" Valerie said, I get to meet the little girl a few times I always thought she was friendly but her mom distance herself from the world, I don't even believe she has friends, apart from that she's not a bad person and the customer's seems to like her better"
"Is pumpkin pretty?" Joy ask
"Apart from her eyes she look so much like her mother"
"What colour eyes does she has?"
"They look just like those of your brother, everyone was interested to know where she got them she just pretty, I knowtist she haven't take her to the shop in awhile"
"She stay with her grandmother after school" Steven said,
"Her mother did say she got her eyes from her father, and she wasn't wrong at all"
"I know because of me she drop out of collage so I want to help her finish her studies"

"Yes if that's what felt right" joy said
Steven nod, it was what felt right he believe in doing the right thing not because she has his child but he love her and never will stop loving her,
"I won't disagree with you helping her since its your responsible" his mother said
"Your mother is right son your responsible is your responsible" Steven nod getting up it was almost middle day and he haven't sleep yet he would just fall asleep here but he have to go home and get ready,
"Just remember I want to meet her" joy said hugging him saying good bye,
"Are you still in love with her?" Drew ask when they were on their way back to the garage
"I never stop loving her man" Drew look at his brother and the truth show in his grey eyes, he never stop loving Gabriela didn't know how to but she refuse him because of a marriage he was in,a marriage that wasn't half way good"
Steven could only get an hour sleep Selena woke him at two as she was on her way to get Adam, he took a quick shower got dress, and went to find Sophie to tell her he was leaving, it didn't matter to her anyway for all Sophie did was to try to make her self look pretty, do her nails fix her hair make up her face, buy a few new dress each week, she was making great use of his money that he was working so hard for good thing he wasn't giving her access to his other accounts he had make sure that he gave her the card for the one they have together hopefully she'll know that he has no more money to offer maybe she'll go back and sell the things she has in the dressing room that she haven't wore yet, because of the marriage they have must have given her all the rights to do what ever she wants he was not going to argue with her about her spending habits let her do what she has to.
Thursday was holly Thursday, Adam was home Steven invite him for a walk in the garden Steven took a seat on the step of the Adam tree house while Adam attend to the pair of parrot he has in a small bird house inches away from where he has his ground toys, a plastic pool and a bed of sand, for a while he watch him with the birds then he move to his sand bed and start playing with his sand truck a water tanker and some other things he had to move them around with his hands for they weren't remote control, he push them and make sound like a truck, Steven watch him with a smile but then a picture of his daughter came in view and thought he should tell Adam
"Adam come over here a while" Steven said
Adam ran to his father sitting next to him
"I must talk to you about something"
"What's that dad?"
"Adam you got a sister"
"I do who is it dad pumpkin?"
Steven nod "how did you know?"
"I just guess it"
"She's your sister I just found out myself that she's my daughter but Adam I want her to be apart of me just like you are"
Adam hug him "dad I want her to be my sister too now I can have someone to play with"
Steven laugh hugging him back
"I think Gabriela is nice like pumpkin" they both smile as Steven couldn't help but to agree.
He wanted his son to know that having another child doesn't change anything between them he loves him just the same, Adam was sure of his fathers love for him and he wasn't worried that anything is going to come between them, he was going to have fun with his sister and he like Gabriela too for she has been kind to him and he only met her in a short time, Sophie who he knew for so long never been kind to him once, they sat in silent for a while just to think Steven got up leaving Adam and went inside he ask that Selena look out for him while he get some sleep,
After three hours sleep he was more energies, he did a little work out take a shower and by two he was ready, when he found Adam he was still playing, ask if he had something to eat his answer was yes so he so he said goodbye saying he'll see her in the morning,
When Steven drove by Gabriela house he didn't see anyone so he thought no one was there Friday morning on his way home it was the same way not even her brother or sister in-law cars were park there, in the after noon he over slept and was running late, Saturday morning his daughter was still a sleep her aunt said she was up late last nigh, he himself was tired he got home with the intention to come back but he was tired fall asleep and didn't wake for a while he had ask Selena to shop, and ask her to take the things to the Simmons for pumpkin he didn't give her any reason and she didn't need any, because he slept all day and didn't wake till night he miss the chance of see his daughter again today, it was way pass nine when he cross to Adam room he was already asleep, he kiss him goodnight going to the kitchen to find his dinner been kept warm after having it he wash the dish and went back to bed,
Sunday Gabriela,Rena,Raymond and the children went to the beach when Steven stop by only Gabriela parents were there he ask them to tell pumpkin he'll come see her later,it was almost eight thirty and he have work nine. After such along day at the beach stevia was asleep when Steven got to the house its been four days she haven't seen him thinking her mother must be happy doing all there was to avoid her seeing him, he had stayed a short while, they 'd plan to go back to the beach in the morning Gabriela had told Rena to ask Steven to allow Adam to go with them she was hoping Rena would ask in her Rena name but she went to Steven saying Gabriela is hoping that he would send his son to the beach with her,
"Sure no problem" Steven said
"she was afraid to ask look how easy you said yes I'll tell her you said yes"
"What is she afraid of?"
"She think you don't like her"
Steven just laugh from the living room he could hear Rena telling Gabriela that he said yes
"You didn't tell him I said so did you?" Gabriela ask
"But you said to ask him Gabriela and he said yes why you worrying and making it look so bad?"
"Yes for now he'll think I'm trying to prove something with his son I don't want him to think I'm trying to friend his son to get to him" she blur out,
"What are you saying Gabriela? You like Adam right I don't think he's going to think that"
"You won't understand Rena leave it alone, I'll see you in the morning, love you" she said hugging her Steven look up when she walk by and their eyes met, she said good night at her door addressing her brother and parents before closing her door soon as she did Steven got up Rena wonder if he felt bad for her sister in-law didn't say goodnight to him.
Adam was still awake at the time he got home he came running to him as he push the door he pulled him in his arms hugging him, they walk over to the sofa and sat down, Gabriela is inviting you to the beach tomorrow " Steven said Adam got excited he would love nothing more than to go to the beach especially with Gabriela Selena came out when she heard Adam excitement knowing it couldn't be any thing more than his father that was home,
"Sir" she said
"Gabriela is inviting Adam to the beach see to it for me" he told her she nod her self off to the kitchen where she start making some preparation,
Adam didn't take long to fall asleep when Steven help him to bed, kiss him goodnight and went off to his own room.
