"You... you can't say it can you?" I ask, tears strolling down my face. He looks at the floor
I sigh. "Tell me Kevin. Say it and I won't go." I say.
He looks up at me and tilts his head slightly to the side.
"Yeah... Me too." I then turn to leave...
KEVIN'S POV~ DREAM My Mom and I are walking through the streets with the shopping backs in my Mom can't drive and Dad is at work so I offered to help.
"We flattened the ground and put a fence around where we want the field to go and later we are going to put down temporary bases for us to draw out the base lines and stuff." I explain.
"It sound like you have a dream with this girl, I've seen her when she's has come in but I've never met her properly, why have you never brought her round?" She asks.
"I don't know. It just never really occurred to me. I mean yeah OK we've been friends for a long time but I didn't think you'd want to meet her. OK I'll bring her round for tea tonight, maybe you can..." Just then a car comes past and bullets fly everywhere then from right next to us bullet retaliate, the second round from the car head in the direction of me and my Mom, when I am hit in the shoulder. I look around to find my Mom on the floor bleeding quite immensely from her chest.
"No..." I crawl over to her. "...Mom! NO! Someone call 9.1.1!" I scream. Tears stream down my face. "Mom I'm sorry." I cry. She places her hand on my face.
"Don't give up on what you have she needs you." She chokes. "Protect her." Her breath then is sharp with each intake. Until she doesn't do anymore.
"Mom?...MOM!" I shout.
REALITY.
I wake up in a cold sweat. How could I have survived and my Mom didn't, after that day I vowed to myself that I would do anything to protect anyone I can, so I trained and became a bodyguard. I dropped everything and left. I'm now doing what I couldn't do for my Mom in the first place. I sit up and look around the room for a bit then I hear it, the most beautiful sound I have ever heard in a while. I make my way down to where this beautiful sound is coming from. The sight that beheld me was truly magical.
