*2 Weeks Later*
Layla POV.
I have done nothing for the past week without Jack. The two of us have been inceparable and it's been amazing. We have built such a good friendship in only a short amount of time. By the way, I should set the record straight now that Jack and I are just friends. We are keeping the promise to just see where it takes us but for now we are just really good friends. We have this natural connection that is so strong and even though we have only known each other for just over two weeks, I know I can be myself around him and he is the same.
We all have 2 more weeks together as a group in 'holiday mode'. Once these 2 weeks are over we all have to go back home and figure out what we want to do with our lives, considering we just graduated. Majority of the guys will be the same but of course still touring with Magcon, so we're making the most of the time we all have together.
On the other hand, the number of our group has dropped by 4 as of yesterday. Taylor, Matt, Aaron and Carter all left yesterday to head back home. They all had other committments and couldn't stay the whole time. It was actually a bit sad seeing them off at the airport but the guys knew they would see them again in a matter of weeks.
Jack and Jack, Nash, Cam and Shawn were complaining that they were bored so the 5 of us girls decided on something to shut them up.
"Alright get up you bums." Ivy demanded
The guys all looked up at us and realised we were in our volleyball shorts and sports crop tops.
"What are you doing?" Jack.J asked confused
"Why do I think you're going to make me do something physically active?" Nash sighed
"Because we are." Alex bluntly stated
"We are challening you guys to a game of beach volleyball." Marley smiled
"Girls, I don't think you understand the talent us guys have for volleyball." Cameron said, trying to be serious
"You girls don't stand a chance against professionals like us." Shawn kept it going and Jack.G stood there with his arms crossed and shaking his head at us
"We'll take our chances" I laughed
"Fine." Jack.G said, standing up along with the other 4. "Bring. It. On."
The 10 of us took the short walk down to the beach and found a net that wasn't being used. There was a few innocent fans that spotted the guys and asked for a couple of pictures but after that we were ready to play.
It was guys against girls. We all took our sides on the court and got ready.
"You guys sure you you're not scared of losing to girls?" I teased
"You wish! You girls are going down!" Cameron yelled back from the other side of the net
"Guys, you do realise we have been playing competitively for years?" Ivy said
"That means nothing!" Nash replied
"We warned you." Emily mumbled, only loud enough for us to hear
I stood behind the end line and took the first serve, sending the ball straight over the net to the guys. Jack.G pushed it up to Jack.J, then to Shawn who sent it back over to us. Alex dug it up and back over to the guys and Cameron hit it straight back over. Marley pushed it up to Ivy who made a set to Emily who spiked it straight over the net making it hit the sand even though Nash tried to stop it.
"YESSS!!" the girls and I cheered
"We told you guys." Alex laughed
The guys all looked at each othere, knowing we were right but boys being boys wouldn't let their pride be taken away.
