I walked into Starbucks and took a deep breath, I loved the smell of coffee. And the taste of it. And on a cold winter day this is just what I needed. There weren't many people on the small café. Perfect, it will be quiet and I can relax with my coffee. I walked up to the counter. The girl behind the counter was cute. Really cute. She had long brown hair that was tied in a braid to the side. Her lips were the perfect size and shape with a shimmery pink tint to them. I see her name tag says Skylar. That's such a pretty name! She smiled at me. "Hi welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you?" My stupid brain stopped working because god, she was so cute. "Um. I- I'll take- um." Ugh, I knew exactly what a wanted but I can't find the words!! "Can I recommend one of our seasonal hot chocolates? We have a peppermint one that is very popular right now. And it's my personal favorite." I'm not a huge fan of peppermint, but since she recommended it, I'll take it. "Sure, I'll have that." I say quickly. "Great, what's you name?"
"Alexa" She smiles, "That's a beautiful name." I feel myself blush. "Thank you, your name is really pretty too." She blushes too. "Thanks"
I wait a few minutes then hear my name called. I walk over and see Skylar holding a cup, "Here you go," shes blushing a lot now. "Thank you, have a nice day!" I say. I look down at my cup I see that Skylar, 525679020 have been written on the top of the cup. (authors note, this number means nothing, obviously, but if this is someone's number, wow what a coincidence!) Oh my gosh. She gave me her number!!!! I'll definitely text her later. I'm so excited! I take a sip of the hot chocolate, and internally shudder, I really don't like peppermint. But Skylar is cute. So it's worth it.
Yay! So that may have been bad, but I thought it was cute, so, whatever. I might continue this story, but idk, tell me what you think!! Also, I am not a hot chocolate or peppermint hater, just so that's cleared up, I freaking love peppermint hot chocolate.
