The world around me is green, with a splash of colorful shirts and the sounds of kids happily running.

I, on the other hand, am wearing a simple blue shirt that compliments the sky and slacks that contrasts my pale skin.

And here I am again, surrounded by happy people, while I am drawing alone...

A airplane flies and hits me on the head. I throw the paper plane back at the waving kids.

"Now what to draw..."

Looking around the happy park, I found the answer.

I want to draw something depressing and sad.

In my mind I pictured a field covered in purple carnations. A breezy aura surrounding the flowers of death. A coffin in the midst of the gently waving pedals shines brightly against the dark sky.

The sun continues to climb up the mountain called "sky". I continue drawing.

The flowers are really hard to draw, but this is fun!

Suddenly, my stylus slip out of my hands.

Ugh, my hand!

My hand was shaking.

Damn it, did that new medication's side effect damaged my nerves?!

The tablet slips from my lap.

M-my heart...

The world that was green turned black

O O O

"Hello? Big brother, are you awake?"

Everything was blurry.

Is this death? I haven't finished drawing the coffin yet.

A shaking sensation. A foreign weight. A comforting warmth. A voice in my head.

My tablet's not that heavy and it doesn't overheat...

"Hmm, this flower field is depressing. If I change this here and add that there..."

Wait, what?

I open my eyes, something light brown and silky obscures my vision.

This is...!

I push the pile of hair away.

Who is this?

A little kid was half sitting, half leaning on me as she plays with my tablet.

I take a deep breath.

"What are you doing to my drawing?!"

She jerk her head up, slamming into my chin.

"Waa! Oh, you woke up."

I wait for a few moments for the shockwave she sent to reside before replying.

"Get off me and be careful with that. Don't you dare break it."

She change her focus from the tablet and lean clearer to my face. Her magenta eyes glowed with a light that is uncommon with little kids.

"You are a patient at that really famous Yuki Memorial Hospital, right?"

I clap my hands over her mouth.

"Don't poke into other people's business, kid."

She has sharp eyes. People like her are always annoying.

*lick*

I jerk my hand back. It was slimy.

"What did you just—"

She grin and stick out her tongue.

"Nothing~. I just made your drawing better, see?"

She hand me the tablet.

No way! The flowers are so lifelike I can see it moving...

"What do you think about it? Hmmmm?"

Her face was pure happiness.

This isn't normal! This can't be a drawing by a kid.

I push her off my lap and stretch. "Whatever. Go and play with your friends. Don't come back."

"Aww, big brother is so mean~" she look up with teary eyes.

"Tch, I'm not your brother. Just go away." I turn to walk away, but a small hand grab my arm.

"I don't have any friends..."

I stop. Something about her way of saying it made me curious, but it's not polite to prod her.

"What about your parents?"

"They live in a city far away."

"Well, why don't you go to your grandparents?"

"I don't where they are."

"How about your other relatives?"

"Don't know."

"..."

It's still dangerous to stay outside at night, I can't just turn a blind eye... Yet, I'm not responsible for some random kid....

I sigh. "What's your name, kid?"

Her eyes lit up. "Kinyou Yoshi! I'm in middle school! What is your name? Can I call you senpai? Or maybe big brother? Where do you live? How old are you? What school do you go to? What is your major? Do you like ice cream? Do you have a girlfriend?" She bombards me with questions.

I hit my head and start walking towards the hospital.

Sigh, I got involved with an annoying person... and she has a weird name too...

I hear the *pat pat pat* sound of sandals behind me.

"Wait for me, big brother!"

I stop moving. The ground falls on my face.

No... it can't be...
