6 Months Later...

"Bae!" Shawn called out from the living room as he walked over to the shelf and grabbed the TV's remote before sitting down. "Where yo' ass at?"

It's been 6 months since the incident and both of them were recovering just as fine. The bullet wound on Shawn's leg had healed within a matter of weeks, but the scar from the painful event still marked his skin and the memory always haunted him. However, he wasn't going to let it affect him negatively. It was a lesson learned.

Although he lost his younger brother in that fatal event, he didn't mourn over him. Jon, his own blood, was trying to kill him— over a girl who didn't want anything to do with him. The two niggas that he met from the game were more brotherly than he was. That goes to show that blood ain't no thicker than water and that family will bring you down quicker than strangers.

Moni was better as well. She was now 7 months pregnant. Her beautiful, baby girl was bound to come out of her in merely 2 more months. After the incident that happened, she was able to get back on her feet in 3-4 weeks. She had a couple of marks on her body, but her skin was still flawless.

Her and Shawn grew more and more close after the incident. The promise that he made to her about leaving the game was kept, making their relationship stronger than before. They've been together for a year now, but it seemed like forever.

"Yes?" She answered, wobbling into the living room with one hand on her hip. The red sundress she was wearing hugged her body and complimented her skin very well. Her belly was huge, but looked cute on her petite frame. Shawn loved how she looked.

"Let's watch a movie," he suggested, gesturing his hand for her to come and sit down.

"Bae," She whined as she stuck her bottom lip out in a pout. "I don't wanna watch a movie, just come cuddle with me."

Shawn glanced at her and chuckled. "If I come and lay with you, we gone do more than just cuddling."

"You nasty as fuck," Moni joked, playfully rolling her eyes. "You can't take yo' mind out of the gutter for once."

He got up from the couch and walked over to her. She opened her arms and he embraced her, gently wrapping his arms around her body and pulling her close. He then released her and bent down in front of her, placing his hands on her stomach and rubbing it.

"Our baby gonna look like me," Shawn said as he rubbed her belly in circles. "I just know that shit."

Moni sucked her teeth and scoffed. "She gone look like me, cause I look good."

"What you trynna say?" He asked, lifting one brow as he ceased rubbing her belly.

"That I look good," She repeated, pushing his hand away playfully. He got up on his feet and held her hand, leading her to their bedroom.

He closed the door behind them and laid next to her as she climbed into the bed. Moni inhaled then exhaled deeply, looking over at Shawn.

"So," She started to say. "Baby coming in 2 more months and we still ain't come up with a name for her."

He scratched his chin and looked up at the ceiling. "Damn, you right. I don't know what to name her."

"How about Anna?"

"Anna? That shit sound basic."

Moni nudged his shoulder. "No, it's not."

"Then come up with something else," he suggested, grabbing the television remote off the nightstand and pressing it on.

She placed her hand on her chin and began to think. "Marie?"

"Bae, that's even more basic."

"I don't hear you coming up with anything."
