Our heads are on our own pillows and he turns to me. "Charlotte.." he shakes his head. "I've never felt this way about anyone." I turn to lay facing him and his hand finds my face. "You're the only person I've ever been able to tell the truth about myself to."

I reach for his hand and I hold it to my face. My eyes close in comfort and flutter open to find his. "Stay with me," I whisper as my eyes get heavy. "Always." He whispers back and I feel myself slowly drifting to sleep.

Superman's POV
I wake up next to Charlotte. She's sleeping on her back, her hair scattered across the pillow. I can't help watch the rise and fall of her chest as she lays there so peacefully. I sit up on my elbow and place my other hand on her heart. Hearing her heart beat and feeling it under my palm.

She sighs and brings her hand to mine with her eyes still closed. A smile creeps across her face. Her eyes flutter open to find mine and her smile gets bigger. "Clark." She says stretching her legs and wiping the sleep from her eyes.

"You're still here." She rolls over to face me and my hand moves to her back. My hand completely covers one of her shoulder blades, she's so tiny. I smile, "I like being here." Her smile fades and she shoots up. "What's today?" She begins to scramble out of bed. "It's Saturday. What's going on?" I ask completely confused. She stops in her tracks. "Oh.." she makes her way back to the bed, "I thought it was Friday and was late for work." She blushes and smiles.

She crawls back on to her side of the bed and pulls the blankets back with her. Sitting up next to her, I pull a pillow behind my back as I rest against her headboard.  "Well since it's Saturday, we can finally spend the day together." I watch as her smile grows. "I think I would like that." She nods to me and her cheeks turn red. "What would you like to do first?" I ask watching the redness from her cheeks fade. "Well, I'm new here so what do you think is the most important to see in Metropolis?" I rub my chin to show that I'm formulating a plan for our day. "I think I have an idea." I can't help but smile as I think about taking her to see everything. "Great." She responds and turns to get out of bed. I watch as she begins to walk to my side of the bed. "Where are you going?" I ask not wanting her to leave the warm bed just yet. She turns briefly to me and quickly responds. "To get ready." A corner of her lips turns as she smirks to me while she begins to unbutton her satin top. Before she unbuttons further she makes her way into the bathroom and a few seconds later I hear the water running.

The shower curtains echo as I hear her pull them back to get in. I can't handle the temptation. I lay my head back against her headboard and stare at the ceiling. I think about her and the water falling off her skin. I shake my head and curse myself. It would be so easy to use my x-ray vision and peak through the walls. My curiosity is getting the best of me.

I can't help myself. I find myself climbing out of the bed and walking to the bathroom. My hand lingers on the door knob. I'm battling with my own thoughts to go further or wait like a gentlemen...

"I'm going to run home and shower too! I'll be back in an hour to pick you up." I yell to her from the other side of the door. Cursing myself, I slam my palm against my forehead. "Ok!" I hear her voice echo against the bathroom walls.

Im bounding out of her apartment angry with myself. Trying to convince my mind that I need patience.

I fly back to my place and with super speed I shower and change. Pace yourself, I have to whisper over and over again. I'm moving too fast with her but I can't help it.

I think of the first time that I saw her outside of the bank. Her face so innocent and perfect. I remember her knees buckling from underneath her as I reach to steady her. She probably didn't even register my face at that moment being so scared but I remember every second of her face. I can still feel the warmth from where her hands held onto my arms. I walked her to the bench where she could collect herself and she still fainted. But I was there to catch her. Without thinking, I caught her in my arms as her head fell back. My super speed undetected but to me that moment was in slow motion. Those seconds she fell into me I studied every part of her face. The way her lips pouted perfectly and her eyelashes sat on her cheeks as her eyes closed. I couldn't help but think that I just found the most perfect woman on earth.

I carry my thoughts as I make my way back to her apartment. Although I'm not in my Superman suit, I avoid the stairs and enter through her patio. The door is left unlocked and I slide it slowly sneaking in.

I find her sitting in nothing but a towel at her vanity. Her long hair still wet from the shower. It looks so much longer and darker when it's wet. I watch as loose water droplets fall from her hair and fall down the her arm. I'm still standing by the door as she notices me in the mirror. "Well, that was fast." She laughs as she runs her fingers through her hair, shaking the excess water out. I begin walking towards her and raise my hands as if I'm guilty. "Super speed." I shrug and smile at her reflection. She turns around to face me, throwing her hair over her shoulder. "Man, I hate when that happens." She snaps her fingers with sarcasm. I sit down on her bed as I'm prepared to wait for her. I don't mind watching her getting ready but then she stands up in nothing but her towel. I gulp hard and she sees that I'm staring. "I just have to change and I'll be ready." I hear her giggle as she walks away. Catching her in a towel caught even me off guard. I had to stop myself from using my x-ray vision to look through it.

She exits the bathroom fully dressed and her hair is still a little wet. I either always see her in professional outfits for work and pajamas there's never been an in between. It's refreshing to see her so casual. She's in a dark pair of straight legged jeans with the knees ripped and her pants that cut just above her ankle. She's wearing a thin black sweater and she throws a simple black purse over her shoulder. "Ready?" She smiles and stands in place.

"Ready." I jump from her bed to start walking with her out of the apartment. She smells so clean and sweet. Her hair is trying into perfect long waves down her back. Everytime she moves her hair sends the smell of her shampoo through the room. I can't focus on anything but her. I stop in the hallway where we shared our first kiss and I stop her. I pull at her arm to make her stand in front of me. She whirls around laughing, "Clark! What are you doing?" Her laughter falls to a smile as she notices that I'm somewhat serious. I just want to look at her for a moment but I told tell her that. I stand towering over her watching her eyes search mine.

And then she raises her hand up to my face. Her delicate fingers stop at my jawline as she seems to be inspecting every part of my face. "You're perfect, Clark." She sighs. My hand moves to her face too, "no, you're the perfect one." Her face drops to look at the floor but I pull her chin up and bring her gaze to mine. "With my 33 years of life on this earth, every country, and sky I've been in. You're the most perfect thing I have ever seen." I say as I plant a gentle kiss on her lips. I feel her cheeks fill with heat.

Charlie's POV
Every kiss he gives me only builds more. The way he holds my face as we kiss as to keep me in me place. I slowly pull away letting the distance between our lips only grow apart slightly.

"Shall we go?" I ask my eyes still closed from our kiss and my face still close to his. His lips turn into a smile and he nods. He turns to hold out his hand before we walk out the door. I place my hand in his and the next minute he has me pulled against his chest.

"Clark! Thanks for the warning!" I exclaim while being hundreds of feet from the ground. I look down and panic. I cling to him for dear life. Heights are not my thing! I bury my face in his neck and wrap my arms around him as tight as I can. He wraps his big arms around my whole body and holds me as close to him as I can get.

Before I know it were standing in his living room. He sets me down and I gasp for air. I held my breathe the whole time and I didn't even notice. "Are you ok?" He cocks his head to the side while still holding onto me.

"I'm just a little terrified of heights but thanks for asking now." He smiles at me. After he realizes I'm ok he removes his hand from my waist and begins walking into another room. "It'll get better, I promise. " He closes the door and a second later he's walking out, "you'll get used to it over time." His smile is so big it's going to fall off his face. I finally gathering myself when he's making his way back to the living room.

"Since you're not in your superman suit, we're gonna spend the rest of the day walking, right?" I'm asking and breathing heavily between each word. He laughs at my question and now he's in front of me.

"We can walk," he laughs and pulls something from behind his back...
