Chapter 7

*John Luke's POV*

A few days has passed since my date with Madison. And man, have we been hanging out a lot after our first date.

I was planning on taking her out again for her 18th birthday. I was gonna surprise her of course. So I had my mom and Miss Kay help me and had Sadie take Madison shopping for a brand new dress.

I was getting ready and was getting extremely nervous about the surprise dinner date for Madison's birthday. What if she doesn't like it? I kept asking myself. I should stop getting so darn nervous about these things because of course Madison will love it. She loves anything that I do. I mean, who wouldn't. I was a hopeless for romance.

As I heard my door open, I heard Sadie's voice, "John Luke, you almost ready?"

I nodded. "Yes I am ready." I said, grabbing my wallet and leaving my room. I seen Madison sitting in the living room, looking completely beautiful in her purple summer dress. I smiled as she seen me staring at her.

"Hi John Luke." She said, standing up.

"Hey beautiful." I said back, walking to her and giving her the biggest hug of all.

She smiled brightly and hugged me back.

Madison and I soon left to place we were eating at.

Once we got there, I got out and helped Madison out. We walked inside. I had Madison close her eyes though. Once to the table, I whispered in her ear, "Surprise!"

Madison opened her beautiful brown eyes and was smiling like crazy. She turned around and hugged me tightly. "John Luke, you shouldn't have!"

"I wanted too baby girl." I told her, truthfully.

"Thank you handsome. This is the best birthday ever!" She said and kissed my cheek.

We had an amazing night that night. And just knowing her birthday was the best, made me happy.
