ѕυ∂∂єиℓу, σиє σf ѕαкυяα'ѕ мιиισиѕ bursted through the doors of the auditorium. When the girl saw Y, she cried. "Sakura-chan needs your help!"

"What?"

"The Sky Battling Team needs you!"

"Oh yeah! The afternoon battles!"

Y began packing up her stuff and threw away her leftovers. I forgot to tell you that there are battles after lunch. It's sort of a thing that the students have created over five years ago. At least that's what Vonnie told me. And no, Vonnie's not forty or something. She's twenty-four.

"X, why don't you cheer us on?" Y asked, opening the door. I shrugged in response, but it seemed that Y took that as a yes. She dragged me onto the battlefields outside of the cafeteria. I tried to let go, but her hand was literally gripped on so tightly. Today, the Sky Battlers were facing against another school's sky battlers. Anistar High.

One of Anistar High's students bullied me in a piano competition after I defeated him in the finals and my mother used to work there as a violin teacher for their summer program. Y had already put on her suit and was adjusting her helmet.

"X, mind if I sit next to you?" someone asked. I turned. Vonnie. I shrugged, "Why not?"

Vonnie sighed as she lowered herself down onto the seat. "Dad's been a little sad yesterday and I wonder why."

I didn't answer so she did for me. "Argument, right?"

"Yeah."

"Is it about Mom, Willow, or both?"

"Willow."

"I know you're trying to get your hopes up about Willow. But to be honest with you, I don't think she's going to wake up and play the violin anymore. I know that you know that."

"I miss Mom and Willow. I just want to have a normal life."

Vonnie groaned, "Well, life is a bitch."

I jumped up. "Oooo! I'm going to tell Dad! You cursed!"

"I'm over twenty, damn it. And you're only fourteen."

"Only? I'm growing."

"Whatever. You don't get it. Tell Dad if you'd like but he would agree."

I plopped back down. "I guess."

"Hey, let your bright side come back."

"No."

"Baby."

"No!"

"It's starting."

I watched as Y brought out her Fletchinder and glide past a girl from Anistar that has a crush on me. Ada Eden.

Ada chased after Y. This was obviously going to get ugly. Ada's black hair helped me track her. You could just see the anger in her scarlet eyes. Y was struggling to escape Ada's grip.

"Fletchy, Flame Charge!"

Ada yelled in response, "Masquerain! Use Infestation!"

Before Fletchy could use its attack, it began losing HP. It couldn't move. Y gritted her teeth. The referee was frantically blowing her whistle. "Foul!"

Vonnie sighed. "Won't that Ada ever stop?" I didn't respond. She stood up and released her Flareon nicknamed Pyroli.

"Pyroli, Fire Blast." ordered my older sister with a classic French accent.

It's weird. Vonnie speaks to all of her Pokémon in a French accent. I have yet to ask her why. Pyroli's attack hit Masquerain and caused the Pokémon and Ada to collapse onto the ground. Vonnie gave a nod to the referee when they made eye contact. The referee announced, "The match is postponed."
