Jessica's P.O.V

My eyes wandered around the huge hall, as I attempted to sit straight in this extremely uncomfortable dark blue gown, that seemed twice my size. All the seniors around me looked mature and overwelmed at the same time. I smirked to myself, even Jaime looks mature. I'm extremely proud of myself for making it this far. I squeezed the diploma in my hand.

Today's the big day, the day we graduate from High School. Or should I say, the big hellhole. Goodbye Mission Bay High.

I looked around, spotting all my friends scattered surrounding me in seats further than me, since it was alphabetic order. I even saw Mila, Lina and Adam. I chuckled in my thoughts. Final time, I'll see them.

Where's Holly? You're all probably thinking where that son of a bitch is. Holliana Zales was sent to boarding school all the way across the world, in Paris. She was sent right after that incident, 3 years ago, at her and Rory's mansion with that party. Turns out, her father does not tolerate troublemakers like her in their home. I scoffed when I found that out, because Rory and Holly were obviously troublemakers from the beginning. Rory stayed in town, for the rest of his high school life. He graduated last year and then proceeded to the New York University. God knows how he managed to graduate.

Both assholes are gone from our lives.

Soon, I eyed my mother in the crowd. She sat besides Narine's mother, stepfather and her sister Daisy. I waved to her, smiling and she responded the same. She mouthed to me, "Proud of you, honey."

I pursed my lips, "I know. I am too," I mouthed back.

I reunited with my mother not so long ago. I realized I should give her another chance since she tried so hard to win me back. She changed for the good and I'm happy. But, she also suffers from PTSD (Post-tramatic stress disorder) due from my father's abuse. It's quite difficult to live with her sometimes, but we make it work.

Narine's mother married Christopher, her stepfather, 6 months ago. Narine,Julia,Iqra and I were all bridesmaids. Her mother and Christopher have been dating for 2 years and he proposed to her a year ago. He seems like a nice guy overall, yet Narine thinks otherwise. She says Christopher is suspicious, she doesn't fancy him much, but as long as her mother's happy, she'll be too.

Vic was valedictorian and Destiny Astin was salutatorian. I watched as Vic walked to the golden podium to read out his speech. Vic has become the perfect student and recieved straight A's in the past few years.

Ah, Destiny returned back in our lives senior year itself. 3 years ago, this hype latina moved away without a trace. Turns out, her uncle was extremely sick and she had to go back to Texas for awhile. I was a bit pissed off at her when she returned, but happy at the same time. I was pissed off at her because of how she left us without a trace, or no contact. I remember, going to the attendance office when she had first moved, to ask if she was still on the roster and I found out she just moved away.

Atleast she's back.

During these years, the crew and I made great friendships with Ryan,Chantha Tristan and Destiny. I'm no longer suffering from depression either, self-harm is gone from my life as well. Vic was so proud when he found out, and I felt like I accomplished happiness in my life for once.

I snapped out of my thoughts towards the end of Vic's speech. It seemed well-written, even though I didn't listen for the most part.

"-Now as our class of seniors, graduates and becomes smart and mature students, we are all still children inside. As, we go to pursue our dreams in college, Long live the kids in us all."

College. Not all of us were lucky enough to go, including me. My mother and I couldn't gather enough money together, and I didn't have the grades to guarantee for a scholarship. But, Vic. Vic on the other hand is going in two months to our own San Diego State for graphic design.

The thousands of applauses from the students and audience rocked the hall and thundered as Vic and Destiny both completed their speeche, and they walked back to their seats in the front. I smiled as the principal walked up onto the stage, facing towards the audience of family members and cleared her throat.

"I'm so proud and impressed by this group of students to make it this far...I now give you all the Class of 20**!"

(Author's Note- the year is censored because I'm not exactly sure what year to put.)

Another round of applauses thundered across hall as the seniors stood up, cheering. I grabbed my hat and threw it in the air, following everyone else.

**

"We made it, Jess! You made it! We're finally graduated!" Vic yelled as he picked me up in the air, spinning around.

I kissed his lips and replied, smiling. "Yes, we did! We finally did!"

"Goodbye hellhole, forever!"
