Jessica's P.O.V

I've known Julia for so many years, ever since the day she stepped into our 3rd grade class, with her super thick british accent, that dissolved over the years, forming into an all-american one. We've all been best friends ever since then, for ten years. I thought us four, would stay together, live our lives together...

I guess not.

I can't believe Julia's actually moving. That too, across the world to England. It isn't even temporary, and I'm not even sure if or when I'll ever see her again. It's all been hard on us for the past week, especially to Mike. He's been gloomy, we all have, but are forced to hide it for the sake of Julia. There have been moments, where Julia regrets accepting this offer, and wants to bail, but this is a once in a lifetime oppotunity for her. We can't take it away from her. I guess we'll have to accept the fact that she's leaving. I mean, it's difficult for me to accept that. Knowing through we've have all been through so much with Julia.

"Jess? Jessica? Jess???" I heard Vic call out to me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up to see Vic, his hands wandered in his pockets and he looked at me, quite clueless.

"Yeah?" I questioned.

He sat besides me on his bed, "You alright?" I hesitated to reply for a moment, then sighed. I nodded and replied barely audible.

"Yeah."

"Thinking about Julia?"

I raised my eyebrows. "How'd you know?"

He let out a soft chuckle. "Stupid, I've known you for so long. I can tell." I scoffed. Vic stood up, taking his car keys from his desk and gestured me to come. "C'mon, we'll talk on the way, so we won't be late."

I nodded, standing up and slipping on my black flats, following Vic out the door.

As Vic and I reached the airport, entering the terminal, everyone was already there, waiting for Julia to come any second. Iqra, Narine, Tony, Jaime, Tristan, Destiny, Chantha, Ryan and Mike all came to say their final goodbyes. I could spot the sense of pain in Mike's eyes, he held a bouquet of flowers for Julia, trying to hold a smile on his face. I watched as Julia suddenly approached the group, dragging her suitcase, and Vic and I ran over. Everyone in unison yelled,"Congratulations!" with such enthusiasm. Everyone but Mike.

"Con-Congratuations," Mike hesitated to say and exhaled, passing the bouquet to Julia. "I'm gonna miss you, so much."

Julia held the red roses in her hand, her eyes were a bit watery, and I watched as she struggled to smile without sobbing. "I will too."

"You're really leaving?" Mike murmured, looking down at his shoes. Julia sighed,"Oh Mike. What do you want me to do?"

Mike looked up and replied,"I want you to sta -" Mike stopped and stood silent for a moment, caught up in his thoughts. "I-I want you to be happy. Just...Just, I don't want you to be unhappy, sad or lonely. Fuck the 5 hour time difference, if you need me, even at 3am, I will fucking pick up. I will manage this long-distance relationship, I'm gonna do my best, okay?"

Julia smiled and wrapped her arms around, giving Mike a great hug. She let go, and cupped Mike's face into her palms. "Oh, Mike. Mike, I love you." She pressed her lips against his and Mike smiled in between, mumbling,"Love you more."

The rest of us cooed, with aw's and ooh's, until Iqra blurted out,"No hug for us?!" Julia chuckled, pulling away from Mike and jumping onto Iqra, squeezing her. "Dumbfuck, I'm gonna miss you lots."

For once, Iqra wasn't super enthusiastic, she was near tears, staring at Julia. "You better call!"

Julia replied, "Obviously."
