Chapter 12 ~ Baby Shopping

Harry’s P.O.V

Today I was going to take Syd baby shopping! We were both so excited that Daisy would be here in less than a month. We had painted the room in various pink stripes. It looks amazing shall I say. I shook Sydney’s shoulder as I sat her coffee on the bedside table. “Sydney… wake up sweetie.”

                                    

“Oh, morning Harry. OH COFFEE!” Sydney grabbed the coffee that I had picked up from Starbucks and immediately began drinking it.

“You still love morning coffee’s I can see.” I gave her a small grin as she finished. “So you up for baby shopping today?” I hope she says yes.

“Yeah sure I would love to go shopping!” Sydney literally jumped out of the bed and rushed to the closet to get changed. She came out wearing a full length striped dress with her baby belly showing. I couldn’t help but grin at the sight of her; she was breath taking.

We got in the car and she told me some shops we can go to and get stuff. We already had furniture so we just needed toys and clothes.

When we arrived to the first shop Sydney knew exactly where she was going so I just followed her to where she stopped to look at some teddy bears. “Which one?” She held up a pink bear and a purple bear.

“Pink looks calmer.”

“Thanks.” She threw the dark purple bear back into the metal box where there were heaps of various sized teddy bears. We walked around for a while until she saw a painting of a daisy. “Oh Harry we have to get this!” She handed me a canvas with nine individual mini canvases on top of it. The nine had the picture of a daisy and the whole canvas – which was the base – was just painted black and at the bottom was the word ‘daisy’ in a very pretty font.

We walked into another shop and Sydney and I picked out some dresses. We both met in the middle of the store to show each other what we picked. “Ok show your favourites first” We both nodded “One… Two… THREE!” surprisingly we both showed t-shirts that said ‘I’m a mummy’s girl’ and ‘I’m a daddy’s girl’ – Sydney with the dad one and Harry with the mum one – “Ha-ha, that was funny, what else have you got?”

Sydney’s P.O.V

 

We showed each other what we thought for about ten minutes and we ended up buying all of it. “Do you want to get Starbucks before we go home?” Harry just nodded his head. Here we are waiting in line. “I knew it was going to be busy today!” Harry and I just happened to go to a store with a ‘Buy one get on FREE’ sign on the door.

“At least we don’t have to pay for two.”

“True, that is actually good we spent a lot of money today, I think I only had enough money for one anyway.”

“No let me pay please, I insist.” I didn’t bother to argue with Harry because last time we argued we actually broke up – Then got back together of course – for a couple of days.

We carried everything into Daisy’s room. “Want to watch a movie Syd?”

“Yeah su-“

“I’LL GET THE POPCORN!” Harry yelled like a five year old kid.
