I manage to escape the bush but more vines start clinging to me as if they're alive. I struggle to get up using that rock we found earlier to prop myself up on it.

Brown mist starts circling me, faster and faster until it swallows me whole, the vines tighten, more of them attaching themselves. Everything goes black.

The firefly gets closer. I ignore the downpour and reach out farther. The firefly lands on my finger, the exact moment lightning strikes the spot it landed.

Pain sears through my entire body as electricity spread to my head. My legs give out and I'm sprawled across the grass, watching as the firefly drifts away.

My whole body is numb and I can't speak. I let darkness take my body and I fall asleep.

I look up at the ocean once more and a ginormous wave heads towards me. Fear roots me to the sand as I cling the the rock for dear life.

The wave crashes down on me with such force I almost let go of the rock. I feel the air leaving my body but I still can't move. Finally the wave recedes into the ocean and I cough up some water.

I'm shaking with fear. My vision goes blurry, but I can faintly see some blue light. I lay down on the sand, letting go of the rock. Darkness takes my vision and I let it.

The rock starts to glow, a haze spreading around me. Deadly winds attack me from both sides, loosening my grip on the rock. I manage to climb all the way up, my body shaking, numb from the wind. A sharp pain pierces my body and sends me down so I'm lying on the rock.

My heart is pounding in my ears, I feel light as air, and I lose my sharp senses. With a sigh of relief I stop fighting the pain and let sleep take me.

The flames get closer and closer. I can't contain myself, my hand reaches out to touch it. Suddenly the fire engulfs me in its flames as I cry out for help. The fire circling around me, running up my arms and legs. And just like that it's over, the rain gets heavier and reduces the fire. All traces of the fire vanish and I'm left with my breath caught in my throat.

I hit the ground, panting as I examine my arms and legs. No scorch marks were made, and my hair is still fine. I try to stand up but quickly fall back down. I crawl off the rock and I lay in the grass, hoping someone might find me.
