Deep breaths deep breaths, no one knows except you. Well... here at least. You just need to go to the roof and breathe. As I turn a corner I see Nathan walking away from me, Lily walking into Ethan's lab, and OMG Be More Chill coming from his watch. Wait where's he going? And why is he bright red?

I follow him, keeping a distance so he can't see me. He looks around as he runs up the stairs to the roof, and so I follow him. When I push open the door, I look around and gasp. He disappeared! A voice starts to whisper in the back of my brain, Why are you so suspicious of everyone, they've done nothing to break your trust... as for you...

"Shut up!!!" I scream out loud, awakening some birds. "I should just go train or something to keep my mind clear."

The training clearing is empty when I get there and all I hear is the bubbly creek and the swaying branches of the willow trees. I used to go here with my mother before she became too preoccupied with work, now it's where we train for battle. The first person I met in this group was Ethan, when I first met him I knew he was different, I just never figured out why. He always seemed scared of me, maybe because whenever I get mad I nearly burn down the whole building. He has the water spirit, we were all blessed by spirits when we were born. The Guardians rule over the universes, and chose us to defend ours, naming us Warriors. If you couldn't already tell I have the fire element.

After a few training drills I created, Alex joins me. "Hey, how's it going?" His face has a red glow and he looks a bit tipsy.

"I'm just training, do you wanna spar?" I ask with a mischievous grin.

"Umm... o-okay," he gulps, grabbing a shield and sword.

"No weapons, just hand to hand combat," I smile, trying to look as innocent as possible.

"This is going to be the death of me," he sighs putting down his weapon.

"Whenever you're ready," I casually tell him.

"Okay, I'm re-" He's cut off as i swiftly knock his feet from under him. "Oof."

"You weren't ready," I tease. He sticks his tongue out at me and I do the same even though it is super childish of me. "Let's try again."

He takes a deep breath, looking straight at me, "Okay, I'm ready." I reverse roundhouse him, but he slides back just in time. I jump front kick him alternating my feet as he blocks them with his forearms. He kicks out too hard, losing his balance, and I knock his feet from under him again.

"Ugh, if you can't defeat me how can you possibly defeat your enemies?" I laugh, smiling to show I'm only joking.

He catches on and says, "Well, remind me not to get on YOUR bad side." We both start laughing, I punch his shoulder and return to training.

Time Skip: Later that day when I went home I couldn't sleep. I walk outside to my porch and look at the purple sky. Sighing, I rest my head on my hands and wait for the sun to completely set. Maybe tomorrow I'll visit the Great Oak tree.
